14~17 June 2009

14/6 ~ supposed to give "so-called violin lesson" (it's actually the piano accompaniment for ABRSM violin exam)... i reached South City Plaza at 2.55pm and waited for my student for the lesson at 3pm.. finally my student's mom arrived the centre at 3.10pm together with my student's brother i guessed, (my student wasn't there), and then her mom came and told me that my student was sicked and she forgot to inform the centre that i don't have to come on that day... What the %*^%(&$#...

Yet, i still smiled and said "oh, it's okay"... i was kinda pissed off at that time, wasted my time la! Alright, luckily i brought my own pieces to the centre and practised on my own while waiting for my parents to finish shopping.. When i washeading back to my house, i saw a familiar face inside the car next to ours... And then i realized it was my primary schoolmate, An Ny and her family! so funny la, we haven't meet for years already! cant get her contact although both of us were waiting for the traffic light to turn green... anyway i called to her house and asked her mom for her contact on the next day (cant believe i really did this), as most of my primary schoolmates had lost contact with her... lolx

15/6 ~ after "not" seeing my tuition students, jeanette and terence, for 2 weeks, they finally came back from melbourne for holidays... Jeanette had injury on her face (skiing) while Terence's lips were "swollen" because of the cold weather there...

17/6 ~ Award presetation day at INTI... This time, my whole family attended the ceremony.. lolx, coz my bro said he never seen the "new" INTI before, so he just came and visited my school.. shown him the "legendary" AUP office... with all the gossips going around here, hahaha!

Again, Han Sen is the one in front of me during the line, hahaha.. Really lack of "familiar" faces and most of the award recipients were new students... lolx.. Together with phei yi, hill lam these time... Many of my friends didn't present in the ceremony too... Raymond Tan, the one who is leaving to ANU on 7/7 was a president list! By the time he went in the lecture hall and joined us, we "teased" him by saying "hello president" "yes, we must listen to the president" hahhaha!

Oh ya, i was the tallest girl during the group photography session! heheaaa, i had learnt my lesson from last experience, coz people tend to wear really "high" heels! Eugene, don't get mad of me, keke!

2nd week of june '09

7/6 ~ dad suggested to have a look of dragon boats festival at Putrajaya... The contest was like sth boring for us since we don't really know what was going on.. Just saw people kayak from here to there... they are so fit la! haha... then the outting ended up to be a "putrajaya one-day trip" as we traveled most of the main paths by our car... haha

(if i am not a malaysian, i might migrate to here because of the fantastic view in putrajaya... such a place that is built to show off to foreigner, lolx)

8/6 ~ It was Sue Yen's birthday and i cant get to see her since our timetable crashed and i have my statistic test at 2pm.. the test was like letting ppl to copy here and there @.@... and ppl straight away took my paper and "refered".. lolx

9/6 ~ pasar malam... people all not free to accompany me >.<.. ka wah was working, chun kit was tired, yuan had to accompany relative, li jin couldn't make it... then i "accidentally" met both yuan and li jin there... zadao.. and jia chang, he suddenly called me when i was on the way back home... he asked stupid questions like "where are you arh?" "you're not driving right?" "i know you are sitting at the back seats"... i straight away looked at my left and right when he said that... and there he was, inside the car beside me... lolx


11/6 ~ captain ball + volleyball at school... it was my linear test 1 too.. the test was really challenging... and for captain ball, due to the growing number of players, we're divided into 3 groups.. the game was fun! i really enjoyed exercising on thursday evening now! hehe (since i have no class on friday! wuhu~) when i went down from my stat class to aup, i saw xiao wei, sue yen and april standing there without changing their sport attires, they said they were very embarassed to go to the court as there're only guys at that time.. oh come on, i was alone as a girl before fel joined us last week!! finally you girls know how i felt already! haha thanks for not ffk me this week, keke...


12/6 ~ it's pauline, pui sun and howe kian's birthdays! ah kian was bring kinda funny in the texting after i wished him:

Discussed with Ka Wah about hanging out for movie, then the plan was canceled at last.. Right after that, i got msg from xiu heng and li jin saying that they were both free... and then we decided to go ebox and sing k.. haiz, should go AEON cheras selatan as i first thought li jin doesn't know the place, yet she claimed that she was actually quite familiar with the place!


we had a great time singing k together~ ^^ (kah mun should have joined us but she declined the invitation as she thought i was "derrick/XXX"<--sunway guy... and both wai loon and ka wah saw my msg 3 or 4 hours later >.<.. it's the first time that xiu heng "entered" my house.. as a friend who i had knew for 12 years... lolx...

night:

pauline's birthday dinner~ a very very long story, let pauline do the job by describing the whole incident, i will try to simplify the story here... haha... well, i fetched sue yen at about 6pm, raining heavily in bukit jalil area and we got stucked in the traffic jam because of the rain here...


got in pauline's car and headed to subang inti to fetch along boon han... (very funny as pauline rushed back to change her clothes when she saw the attires of yen and mine, haha) plan changed... it used to be a plan with only 5 ppl including su peng, then we called john and asked if he wanted to join us.. he then brought along nick tan and erin... saw you liang, jonathan and joel, invited, and they joined us too.. blink, the plan changed to 11 persons out of sudden, lolx


following the plan, we went to niu ze shui in 3 cars separately... during the journey, jonathan and joel got lost and they accidentally went to 1 utama... we waited for them for about 30 mins at taman megah mas.. and finally they managed to catch up with us (due to traffic jam at ldp)... as we arrived niu ze shui, it was about 9pm already... (dinner changed to supper, lolx)..


we figured out the reason that J & J got lost was because jonathan forgot to bring his specs and then both of them shared 1 pair of glass... they thought they were following the correct car... LOLX

our plan was "fullhouse" at NZS, when we reached there, the waitress told us that we have to wait for minimum 30 mins because the restaurant was full.. oh my godness, and then after a small discussion, we changed the destination to Puchong shabu-shabu...

wahliao eh... luckily we managed to have our meals at 9.45pm, the restaurant was great as all of us enjoyed it~ it was really a memorable night! (oh ya, coincidental, most of us having our phone in low battery, and i was the worst as my phone was totally dead... haha)

reached home like 12am++ after i fetched yen back... the road from OUG to sri petaling was like so "tranquil", scary! haha... mom was so worried as she couldn't contact me... as i said, my phone was died... lol.

sorry for not attending BTG yamcha, i just couldn't make it, haha

"kuk jit lei kei" details and life

lol.. i think many people had heard of my "ku jit lei kei (cantonese)" story of the day already... haha

but i seriously need to take the notes down...

the dary started off as i reached subang at 11.45am and i was able to get a parking slot right after i turned in the junction.... i parked at somewhere near the F2F there... and then i considered myself lucky for that day... =)

well, when linear class was going on, i saw justin took out his phone for some purpose, and i also wanted to silent my phone... as i sought my bag for my phone, i realized that i actually accidentally left my phone on the car (b'coz i took it out to check the msg from jonathan =.=)... i was so nervous! i quickly ran down from 8th floor, (by lift, lolx).. luckily my phone was safely "unnoticed"... haha... [there's one time that i forgot to take my phone down from my car too, it was during my second sem, the music class, and i actually parked at somewhere further from the market... guessed pauline knew how far it was as she accompanied me there, haha... considered "lucky" this time since it's nearer, lolx]

during my break from 2 to 4, the most boring period, as most of my friends were in their classes respectively.... i checked my mail at aup office and found out that Macquarie Uni is giving me a conditional offer... so zadao la... i still haven't get any reply from US uni (UWEC) yet and i got 3 replies from adelaide, curtin and macquarie =.=".. and miss peiyi told me that she had received the reply from ANU for me... she said she had forwarded the mail to me, the problem is i didn't receive any! and then i quickly ran out to AUS Ed and told them to cancel my application to ANU since INTI received the reply from ANU... confusing... XD

i went to wear my contact lens before the break ended because i wanted to join captain ball during the evening... finally that i joined the sport since nick tan asked me play from last year... haha, my real purpose of playing is because i want to avoid traffic jam lol! my class until 6pm every thursday, so ngam ngam hor lol! during my Stat class, my left eye was soring suddenly, so i quickly grabbed out the "polka pink purse" from my bag and searched for tissue paper... after that, i put the bag into the drawer conveniently...

the game was on as i was the only girl.. luckily fel joined us right after the game started.. xiao wei, sherlyn, sue yen, april left me alone for the game T.T... but anyway, the game was really fun... kena tipu by few of the "enemy force" due to the reason that i don't regconise most of my members at first, haha! nice to "catcher" too, but not for the basketball that hit me from the back just before the game ended =.=, haha...

well, i went to take out my contact lens after the game, then i came back to intima office and trying to find my comb... yet, i realized my comb was inside the polka bag which i accidentally(again ==) left in the class... i rushed to 4th floor, and what i faced was the locked gateway... alright, i decided to ask someone to collect it for me tomorrow...

dinner was supposed to be at F2F, but since i just had the noodle with sue yen and pauline on wednesday, i felt like eating maggi goreng, so i only ordered "red bean iceland"... thanks john for treating me, you should, since i fetched you home, haha... we returned to college to pack our "belonging" before heading home... i almost turned over my bag in order to obtain my car's key...

surprisingly, i cant find my key... and i finally remembered that my key was exactly inside the polka bag! walau eh! i was so "lost" at that time... and then john suggested that we might be able to use the back lift to reach the class... when we're about to get up, i saw the guards walking around, i approached them and they asked me to go to the control room.. seems like somebody had found my bag... wow, i felt so thankful... after that, another guard came and brought me to the control room.. he was like "investigating" me.. he required me fill the form and describe about things that are inside the bag.... fortunately, my stuffs were all there flawlessly.. huuuu....

story ends when john helped me to dabao my maggi goreng at puchong there... he has a good timing 'coz he ordered a drink at the mamak there while waiting for my food =.="... lolx

* i broke my own record in geo challenge last week, but it was failed to upload =.= deng!

* watched "slumdog millionaire", really a nice movie!

* created a funny song with pauline at AUP office... "wo chong jia li lai, lai dao colle-ge"(mandarin).. lolx

* the physics first test, i was so unsure about my own answers as i found out so many mistakes while i double check my answers... well, the marks shown in INTI online is 20/20 la.. hope it's correct! haha

* oh, i had one "so-called" joke about "indian and INTI-ans"... if you are interested to know, just tell me, lolx!

* friday night, yamcha with BT gang, vone went back from kampar... she said her look grew matured already, lolx.... ya la, a bit la, became your real age already, lolx... thanks Li Jin for the present... ^^

* yesterday, out of hurry, i got my watch stucked in my wrist and cannot unlock it... chang, ah shu, li jin and vone all tried for few mins and still cant get it out of my wrist.. i myself tried for whole night before i went for bed... YET, my dad helped me to take it out in 3 secs... zadao! haha

Today i purposely went back to INTI for physics replacement class...

Pauline seems really moody, and i finally found out the reason when the class ended... (hey, don't get irritated by the incident la! giving you mental support here! hehe ^^)


Since the class finished earlier as people were tired (obviously not me, i was there for 2 hours only.. wasted my petrol, haha)


Then pauline and i went to purchase ice blended drinks at noodle station... i was responsible to drive there and we're really lucky to get the parking slot right in front of the shop... yet, we were searching for the location of the shop as we didn't realize it was right in front of us... lolx.. embarassed.. haha

After that, i went to give tuition at salak south... Well, my little student was still so "him"... his best skill is to make me feel headache.. haha

The trick that i used to "coax" him to study for today was to play badminton with him after the tuition @.@ haha, it's a nice and exhausting game anyway... we even "smashed" the tree nearby to collect the shuttlecock which had stuck in between the leaves, haha...

oh ya, i suddenly realized that it's going to be school's holiday for two weeks starting on tomorrow when redbox sms me about the discount for school hols, haha... i will be free from giving tuition class for 2 weeks since my students are going to have their holiday at Melbourne~

I want holiday too!!!!

*oh ya, ka wah, wai yong, yeik huei, wai loon and jin kuan had went up to genting and going to stay overnight at starbucks... zadao... i got this "news" from ye vone, haha... anyway, vone had stayed at kampar for 1 week already, just had a phone talk with her... miss her so much! miss ka wah my x-lougong too, and i don't miss wai yong! hahhahaha

Something Wrong (Physics quiz)

Just had college physics quiz 2 this morning...
I didn't get full marks for it as i should get it! (got 9/10, arh! frustrated)

The reason why i am so angry of myself is that i shouldn't get that part wrong!

I revised until midnight last night(as i started late, lolx), and i told my self that if i got the position of y component and x component in determining the angle of the force, then i can be said as stupid...

And then, after checking my works for three times,

i still didn't realize that i actually substituted/placed the x and y wrongly!

oh my goodness, three times of checking and i still couldn't find out the mistake!

what's wrong with me? blind ?!!! lolx

well, i am just angry of myself... seriously don't know what had happened... haiz!
proven, stupid princess is a stupid!

4th sem

I am going to start my 5th sem at INTI soon...

Well let's have a quick review of the courses i had taken in the past few months... courses that had afflicted me for few months @.@ lolx

first, calculus 3! lectured by Dr. Chan Kah Yein, a lecturer who is really looks like my additional mathematic teacher in high school, Puan Chan... I once thought that they might be sisters since they shared the same surname! lolx... She is a talented teacher, my classmates complained about her way of teaching frequently as she teaches in an incredibly "fast" rate... Well, i think i am quite used to it since that's how my add maths teacher treated us in high school... haha...

Generally, our courseworks marks were high, i think she's trying to help us since the final paper was spanking hard! She's an experienced tutor i should said... ^^ Well, i still remember the last chapter was damn difficult as we don't really know what's is talking about, yet, it appeared to be the most "direct" question in the finals... we only had 4 questions in our final paper... the first question from chapter 1 was soooo out of our "frequently seen question"... It's like we have to apply all the concepts that you know into it... All i can say is that, the paper is really challenging!

Public specking then, lectured by Ms Kalai... As we all knew, she is really humurous! Studying in an environment in which most of my classmates are expert in english was seriously tiring... I didn't do my "best" in my extemporaneous speech as i prepared it just 2 days before the presentation... haiz... then impromptu speech... my topic was "bigimy"... our impromptu speech is held in a way which lecturer will give u five minutes to prepare the speech and talk for another five minutes... By the time she informed me about my topic... almost everyone in the class gave a "huh?" sound... lolx, i don't even know what is that about... then ms kalai explained that it is a condition in which one husband and 2 wives... i got higher marks in impromptu than prepared speech... zadao... haha... the most notable thing that lecturer likes the most about me is my voice again... @.@ lolx the final paper was different from past-years papers because last time it focused more on how to apply rather than definition all that.. i prefer "apply" rather than just memorize >.<

United States History I... not lectured by mat salleh mr Borges, but miss Lisa... Well, i think she's better than Borges because she tends to give tips in all the tests! I didn't really studied my American History thoroughly, i just focused mainly on the "important" issues that she mentioned... lolx... but i think the history itself is quite interesting~

Accounting II... problem is with the lecturer, Mr Siew... He is way different from my accounting I lecturer... The previous lecturer explained things in detail and she will prepared you for exams... however, this lecturer, the way he explained was like saying nothing... er... I am a student with no accounting background in high school.. this lecturer, you seriously can't put him under the category of "good" tutors anyway... And then, he even lost the homeworks that i handed up to him!!! Most importantly, i had both ACC and calculus final exams on the same day... This lecturer didn't really teach the last chapter and then he didn't give any hints in which will turn out in the finals... alright, fine, i studied until i wanna vomit blood on the day before the exam, because my public speaking ended at 7pm, i reached home and finished bathing + eating at 9pm already.. then have to put my last effort on both ACC and calculus... seriously felt like dying... But then, when the ACC finals came, it was presented in a simple format, and we all studied a lot of "unnecessary" things which impeded us to focus on calculus, lolx... and i did about 1700++ words for my accounting assignment alone @.@

that's all for my 4th sem... and my 5th sem coming soon!! arh! really old student liao! haha
