Awesome Winter Break (Part 1-Texas & Louisiana)

Alright enough for the summary of my busiest (fall) semester ever.

Here comes my long-waiting super AWESOME winter break! =)))))))

Kelsey, my beloved roomie ever, with the presents that i gave her... She transferred to Carroll University at Milwaukee in the Spring... I'm gonna miss her badly! I was so blessed to have known her!! She's just simply amazing!! I'm so glad that she's part of my life here. =)

Okay, time to go for Winter break!!! Dinner at Peninsula Restaurant (a Malaysian cuisine restaurant at Minneapolis)... Was playing joke with a waiter and well, he served a pudding cake for me at the end of the dinner, fun guy! LOL XD

At Mystic Lake Casino! First time in my life for entering the casino and winning 10 dollars! =DDD

Texas Trip:

First Stop: Dallas, TX

Date: 20th of December, 2010.

Simply loitering in the city. It was so quiet during Sunday.

Only Pauline and i were travelling together at Dallas. We had a "scary" night experience in order to get back to our hotel late at night in a totally strange place. haha, it was fun though. great experience! haha

Second stop: Austin, Capitol of Texas

Date: 21st of December, 2010

Austin, Texas' State Capitol! where Pauline and I met up with Charles and May Chong... We rode Greyhound bus, and both of them came up all the way from Houston... It's so nice to meet up with old INTI friends =)))

Third Stop: San Antonio, TX

It wasn't in our plan originally, but since Charles was the "driver", so we decided to stop by San Antonio before heading to Houston.

Fourth Stop: Houston

Had our dinner at Banana Leaf, a Malaysian cuisine restaurant... Looked at what we had ordered: Nasi Lemak with curry chicken, Belacan Fried Rice and Belacan KangKung!! Delicious!!!!!!!!

Having Karaoke-session at Chinatown Houston.. The settings was great! Comparable or even better than Neway! haha XD we had great fun there! And not to forget those videos that had been taken huh! HAHAHAHA

Fifth Stop: Baton Rouge, LA

Local Louisiana food a.k.a Cajun Food at The Chimes, BR. Tried Poboys (sandwich) with crawfish and alligators meat! I love the food there! By the way, alligators meat tasted like chicken with more chewy texture! LOL

Sent May Chong to Greyhound Center after the meal and a short rest at Charles' apartment.

Had a fun laundry session on that midnight! hahahah XD

P/s: Charles' bed was sooooo comfortable! LOL

Sixth Stop: New Orleans, LA

After sending Charles to the airport early in the morning (he needed to catch flight to New York for his following winter break trip, and our flight were at 3 in the afternoon leaving down south to west coast San Francisco), his Louisiana friends brought us to hang around New Orleans.

New Orleans is such a pretty and neat city... Weather was cozy.. We're just hanging around the city center, I wondered if that's the reason that i didn't see much on how hurricane Katrina had affected the city few years back...

Bourbon street, the most famous street in New Orleans... It's the best place to hang out at night for all the entertainment that you could think of! Strip clubs, liquors +++ XD

Fall 2010

Trying to remember what I've done in Fall 2010 is such a difficult task.. In a sense that I had been living to the real FULLEST...

Well, let's do a quick review:
18 full credits, tutoring, preparation for professional exam, mathematic research, IS research, Actuarial Club, Malaysian Abroad Diversified (MAD), working...

Life was so busy that I don't feel like I have enough of 24 hours per day. It's like once I have somehow done with my job loads, it's already time for bed. I was really exhausted and life was so full that i'm glad i've been through it and i'm still alive enjoying every moment of it. It was wonderful.

I was so depressed at one time but it made me realized what's really about life. I'm just me after all. But way stronger, tougher and hopefully prettier, haha. Obstacles are things that we have to face. Life isn't that interesting when you don't have the opportunity to be able to get through all these matters regardless how bad or how wonderful they are. Failure, so what? If i could step over it and keeping my faith. I was once beaten down, badly. I knew. Yet, i'm not giving up. Not this easy. I will stand up and prove it. Not to the world, but myself.

Alright, i'm gonna write a summary now, for those events that had been taken place for the last few months. (for things that i still remember, lol XD)

- Been to Travelers' Actuarial Case Competition for 2010 Program at St. Paul, Minnesota with 5 other American coursemates (we're in a team representing the university). We're staying at Hilton Garden Inn hotel. Guess what, the case of the competition was about expanding Travelers insurance company in other nations other than US, Canada and UK. We're given 4 countries for selection. Malaysia was on the list! and we chose it. I think our team did a great job, and i'm pleased that i did contribute to the team. To be honest, i was so afraid that i'm gonna bring down the team before the competition. Kris (our professor) and our team thought that we're gonna win after our presentation. (at least we have certain level of confidence on that, lol) However, i think we're the second or so, 'coz only the first place was announced and it wasn't us. Anyway, it was a great experience after all. Haha.

- Went for job/internship interview with Humana and Travelers. Been to RA interview for KT hall too. I should say, worthwhile experience. LOL.

- Tutored two 10th grade students and one 7th grade student on their Maths subject. It was fun and well-paid! haha.. Was working as security in the dorm. It was so chilly as i have to stay for 3 hours at the lobby. Anyway, it was a nice job and i could do my own works and earn money at the same time! hahahah

- Finally got my Wisconsin driver license after failing once due to "Dangerous Act". XP. My score for the first time was a passing score, yet, DA was the one that failed me as i violated the rule at the junctions. LOL.

- Boon Han visited us in Eau Claire all the way from Nebraska during their spring break! It was awesome hanging out with old friends! haha

- Went down to Madison for Halloween Freak Fest. It was a crazy night and i was impressed by people who wore just a set of bikini under that freaking cold weather. Haha. Everyone was dressed up amazingly and whole State street was filled with people and great live music performance. Met up with Kathy, Vinod and Fernie there.

- Thanksgiving break: wasn't able to celebrate that with host family as Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray both visited their daughter at St. Louis. We went to Albertville Premium Outlet during Black Fridays sales. The sales and markdowns were insane! We got ourselves lots of good deals! I still couldn't believe how crazy it was when we lined up outside Coach outlet for 4 hours (I only stood there for 2 hours) under a negative fourteen degree celsius with strong winds! Most of the shops open at 10pm, but some (such as Coach) open at 12 midnight. We shopped from 10pm to 5am and then continue shopping at Mall of America until we have our lunch at hong kong noodle near U of M in the afternoon. That was EXTREMELY exhausting! I swear! Anyway, it was a blast for bumping into a lot of INTI friends at the outlet. Xiao Wei, Juliet, Boon Han, Joshan, Yan Ming, John, Fernie and a lot more... Some that we haven't meet for like a year or so, all the way from iowa and nebraska! haha XD We have say, we're nearer to Albertville okay? It's like an hour and half to 2 hours drive from here.

- Classes! Classes were not easy. I've been putting so much hard work. Got more than 100% for my P exam class; A for IS class; A for Finance class; A for the hardest math class ever, MFE class. MFE class was so challenging, the theory part was really FASCINATING, i'm so glad that i got it done with the just-nice score which gave me an A. haha. Yet, stupid english professor gave me a stupid grade out of no where for my english course and that hurted me, dang!

- Fell sick! Real sicked. That was during the finals week. I woke up at 7am on a tuesday which i was supposed to have my Math 470 (MFE class) finals at 1pm. I puked for several times and was having a bad diarrhea. Luckily Kelsey was here to look after me. Kelsey helped me to notify my professor about my situation and he was so nice to let me postpone my exam to whenever that i feel better. I kept resting in the room. I thought i would be better off in the afternoon, but thing got worse. Pauline came and look after me in the evening. I was sent to Sacred Heart Hospital by Zjen Thak and Pauline at night. I think i got a stomach flu or something. I stayed in the hospital from 9pm till 2am. Thanks so much for Pauline and Kelsey for accompanying me there the whole night. I was so thrilled! Ohya, i got 3 pokes by the nurses as they couldn't find my veins for IV. hmmm... Here goes my insurance medical claim. I havent receive my bill yet. haha

*Alright, i'll keep writing if i could think of more. Let's stop here for now. Haha XD.

Hi, the few days of US summer!

After super tiring + exhausted flight, here I am, the United States of America again!

Regarding the long flight, my luggage was too over weight that i have to repack at KLIA.. alright fine, things went good until i reached Los Angeles. The Hong Kong security check (before boarding the flight to US) was so smooth and funny that the officer uncle didn't really examine my items as he said i looked "innocent", LOLX...

Originally, we're about to layover at LAX for like 6 hours, but indeed it turned out to be like 8 hours due to the delay of Frontier airlines. We ended up boarding United Airways and had our luggage free for delivery. Yet, the about 10kg handcarry was about to kill me as i had to walk a long way to the terminal. But anyway, we reached Minneapolis safely after a transit at Denver~

Twin Cities Trip:
Hello Nick and John!! Finally we made our promise of visiting you guys!! Although we're just 1 and a half hour drive from each other! LOLX

Summer in Malaysia (Part 2)

Backed in the US, summarizing my great summer days back home =)

Congratulation for Zer Yun's diploma graduation at Nilai University College...
Finally got to visit their campus! & got to "hang out" at Mun's dorm room.. haha XD

Went to school with Yuan at IMU, haha that was fun =)

Wuuu, had korean lunch with my parents, niceeeeee =)

I think i seriously gained weight after spending 3 months back home, i tried to eat everything i could, so that i wouldn't be yearning or craving for them that much after this... lol

Corgi boy.. It got into an accident by chasing after vehicles everytime...
We didn't realize that the door was opened and corgi was not in the living room with us.

We're so nervous and worried. We sent it to the animal medical centre and it had been hospitalized for 1 week.

Poor corgi boy is going to have one shorter leg in the future, but we're really grateful that it didn't have major injuries on other parts of its body...

And well, it regained its hyperactive status now.. So no worry =) hehe

Rushed to LeeHom's new album event at 1U after coming back from Sekinchan...

With 2 purposes: shopping with Vone and seeing LeeHom..

I drove there at 6.10pm (the event should be started at 6), and reached there (very smoothly) at 6.30pm.. Was wondering where's the venue of the event... Yet, by the time we walked out of the parking slots, we heard the host saying "welcome to lee hom's event".. LOL, right by the time!! haha =D

We didn't really queue up for the autograph session, we went to shopping instead... And then we're being too obedient by not waiting for the line when the host said the event was gonna end soon since lee hom gotta catch his flight back to Taiwan soon... (i was about to still stand there for signature but the security was really "fierce", lol)

PuiSun who had been waiting down the sun from 3pm onwards didn't manage to get the signature too.. she "escaped" from the line as she almost fainted after lee hom sang...

Sad case, i hope he could sing more than one song... not worth my trip there.. haha...

and i saw from facebook page that he actually managed to sign everybody (when most of us were gone)... shoot.. i would rather he went to catch his flight right after the host announcement.. he's way too kind.. haihzz....

Kampar trip! I finally made it after so long =D wahahahaha... Went there with Vone and Yun by ktm...

Summer in Malaysia

Spending summer break back home is a total enjoyment, i would say... =)
Life goes on when the humidity stays constant, LOL XD...

Things that i had done in these 2 months were:
~spending time with family and relatives
~summer class (bio 121 at Inti, -.-" to fulfil my science subjects requirement)
~hanging out with friends of new classmates (my juniors?! haha =P), "old" college buddies who came back from different states of the US
~yamcha and badminton session with biantaigang (mostly guys, and we're so "fortunate" to see Dato Lee Chong Wei and Wong Mew Choo playing at the badminton court/stadium near my house)
~and last but not least having great pleasure time with the bestest gang!

19th of June: the 5 ikhlas gathering.. kinda like a different version of yumcha activity.. haha, anyway it's sweet to have us together =)

9th of July: Karaoke session at Redbox, The Gardens, with buffet... Glad that we all made it =)

There's movie session at mid valley before karaoke too, 4 of us(Xiu Heng, Chong Yew, Huey Yuan and i) who went there together watched with a bunch of "Edward-and-Jacob-fans" at the following row... we're seriously annoyed by their screaming and cheering when the characters appeared.. yet, that was quite fun though, hahahha

16th of July: Bio finals.. from left, me, rhae yaenn(vanessa) and Michelle... my classmates for bio... (arh, we should have taken a class photo with all the classmates!! lol) Well, my classmates were all pretty sweet and funny! haha but i wasn't really like the lecturer at first, kinda not used to the usual way of a Malaysian lecturer... Anyway, time passed, and i got adapted/switched to the right channel again after a while, hahaha...

The lecturer taught us in a way more to A-levels since he was from A-levels department, we had a lot of tedious in-class assignments, but luckily we could just copy answers from seniors' notes for a large part of it... At the end, our finals was so much easier than all the exercises we did before, lolx..

And i just got my result today, an A+ =) lol.. i was only aiming for an A actually.. grateful.. haha

After finals and lunch with Carmen and JinYing, Pauline and i went to sunway pyramid to meet up with some old college buddies!
My dear YenLoo, we have so much stuffs to do together! Don't forget~! hahahaha

YenLoo, Pauline, Raymond, me, XiaoWei and her bf Choon Shein~! Arh, miss them so much~! hahaha, glad that we still met up! hhehe

23th of July: had a "feminine" afternoon of shopping, food, boutique, cosmetics, facial and desserts with zimui Huey Yuan, LOL... That was a real fun and interesting day~! hahaha

We're so random and kinda out of plans but still lived with the plans, hahahhaha!! perplexed~
That was the dessert at the Fusion Restaurant after our korean kemuchi rice/spaghetti (hmm, i'm not sure if i got all the names and titles right, i didn't take note about that, ahhaha)...

After trying-to-find-presents for Kah Mun at Parkson OUG, changing battery for Yuan's sister watch and having chinese cookies at Central OUG, loitering in a boutique nearby, shopping at cosmetics stores and isetan for Mun's birthday present of Shiseido Loose Powder, having facial at De Fennel, Desa Petaling, back for "hi-tea" at Sweet Bean, Saujana... We finally ended our long schedule in 5 hours! haha XD

24th of July: Went back to highschool for Chinese Society's singing competition and Mun's little celebration after that...

Had a very traditional-styled Panmee at Desa Petaling, well, that really tasted gooooood! haha
We had real fun chit-chatting during the event though...

And yeah, we watched at MBO, S*Park/Spark (If you know what i meant, lol) as Mun needed to do a new pair of specs there.. That was an awesome movie!!

Finally, my doggie Corgi Boy.. Well, it doesn't respond to the name Corgi but Boy... so frustrating now.. I wonder if i have to call it old man when it grows old... LOL XD

Well, it's so damn cute, but please, stop biting that much! I'm not in favor of that at all! hahhaha

1. 15th of july~ spent an afternoon with my cousin brother, Eddie Lim... We're having a little "yumcha" session.. I think people must seen us as a couple though.. it's just kinda weird to stay like that with a cousin brother who is one year older than me like that.. haha, but yet, we spent a good time updating each other's life =)

2. One of the wednesday in late-June/early-July, Chong Yew, Xiu Heng, Huey Yuan and i met up in Sunway Pyramid... Yew and i were the early bird since i rushed there right after my lab which ended at 10am... We hung around and got a piece of dress for Yew's girlfriend while waiting for the other two to arrive... After that we sang karaoke at Amp square karaoke, that was terribly hilarious when we sang the song in korean language but chinese pinyin character, oh my godness, that was super funny... something like 收礼收礼,小丽小丽,狗吃...... We burst into great laughters and couldn't control ourselves throughout the song, LOL

20/7 - Pasar Malam with one of my primary school best friend WenKi at Seri Petaling.. She just got back from ShangHai.. It's just good for us to have a gathering like that since we both got back to Malaysia for summer, haha...

21/7 - Connaught Pasar Malam with April, Maychong and Raymond! We walked through the whole Pasar Malam... Luckily that we still got to chat while we're walking.. hahhaa... Had some nice foods, and "sharing was caring", hahahaha! Thanks April for picking me up from my house!! Thanks Raymond for missing the junction at Bandar Tasik Selatan and turned out sending me home!! Thanks Maychong for being the lovely sister as always =) hahahhahhaha

People: Bian Tai Gang!! XD (except An Cherng who bailed out at the last minute, hmmm)

We're invited by Ah Kian (the "spirit" leader of the gang, LOL)...
It was just nice that all of us could make it and had a little gathering..
The first time we spent at Genting which did not include the highland but only the hill, haha =P

And we all stayed in just one room of Hotel Seri Malaysia (if not mistaken, i don't remember the name of the hotel though.. hehe)...
With 6 girls squeezed on 2 single beds, haha..
That was fun and kinda "relaxing" with the "so-called-whole-body-massage" we experienced by rolling... arhahahahahhaa...

Well, though the event wasn't that convincing, but we did enjoy ourselves very much and we were just simply AWESOME with AWESOME people, the AWESOME gang! hahahah XD

Well, I had been "abandoning" this page for quite a long time i think, haha...
Hmm just to summarize some little but quite significant events here during this period =)

A friday before final exam in May..

That's the Actuarial Club Cookout at Professor Presler's house!

He has a small playground set at his house for his 4 daughters! WOW~

We're having a board nomination for the committee of the club at Kris' garden.. And i'm going to be the "web developer" of the club for the coming fall semester, LOL XD
My room after Kelsey had left (her classes/finals ended one week earlier than mine due to the Chippewa Valley Technical College program), i was like "colonized" the whole area! keke...
Everything was so messed up when i was trying to pack my stuffs before going home (wuu, i could finally say this word, as a lot of my American friends/classmates said that when weekends approached, haha)...

Kathy, a friend from Guangzhou, China, who could speak somehow worse Mandarin than us, hahaha... Well, 'coz she mostly speaks Cantonese back home... We're really close~ Sad that she's going to transfer to Madison next semester, hmmm.... Anyway, miss her so much! muahahaha =)

All of my belongings at my host's house.. They are staying in the princess room's wardrobe now, hahaha, can't believe i have so much stuffs just in one semester... LOL

Trip Back to Malaysia

Eau Claire(shuttle) -> Minneapolis -> Denver -> Los Angeles -> Hong Kong -> Kuala Lumpur

At LA airport, where i met Amir who's coming back home too, so coincidence, haha... But he's taking MAS... We were taking Cathay Pacific...

Milwaukee Visit

Venue: Milwaukee, WI
Went home with Kelsey~~!

Stopped by Madison and met up with Fernie and Jacqueline (Kelsey's sister)~! It's just nice to see friends from Malaysia! Felt so warm!!

I really like Kels's house at New Berlin, the neighbourhood is so awesome! Her parents and youngest sister, Karis, were very friendly too!

Not forgetting her dog and cats too.. No wonder her pets could withstand Wisconsin's weather, they have thick fur! haha

The most amazing part about her room is that we could actually climb out of the window and stay on the roofs! That's so cool!

I spent the whole afternoon to evening with Zi Hui(Sherlyn) at downtown Milwaukee...

We walked like 5 hours in total i guessed... We had a great meal of Greek food for lunch...

Her boyfriend brought us to a hill somewhere, (well, we "hiked" all the way from MSOE to there), and had a view of the scenery of Milwaukee city!

After that we walked back to the dorm at downtown, rested for like 30 minutes, and started to walk to the Michigan Lake (the one which connected to Chicago)...

We paced around the shore of the lake... It was seriously windy, and i didn't bring my sweater (well, the afternoon was super damn hot, haha)... and so i told Sherlyn that i'm getting stronger! hahahahhahahhaha

Great fun hanging out with Sherlyn and we took a tonne of absolutely gorgeous pictures around! wuhuuuu~

Went for Kels' church (Elmbrook church) for Sunday service, Oh my goodness, the church was HUGE! I had never seen such modern and big building of church ever!

It was so nice and comfortable! and i really like the songs that they played and sang~!

(well, i actually went to the church on Friday's night too in order to help out in an event - the third culture kid (TCK) event and served as a popcorn manufacturer! hahahhaha it was fun tho~!)

Enjoyed the trip very muchie!!!

Viennese Ball, the prom

Time: started at 6 but we entered at 9 till 1am
Venue: Davies Center (the whole building being decorated up)

Thanks Kathy for setting up my hair and makeup! We had fun getting ourselves ready! (Gorgeous dresses that we had!) Haha =D

The venue was really well-decorated! It’s not like the normal student center at all!
You could seriously felt the sense of “ball”~!

It felt like you’re in a totally different place of “Viennese-styled” with music going on and dressed-up people dancing around…

I never knew that social dancing was so fun! Kind of regret that I didn’t learn properly before the event! Haha~!

As in Malaysia, if you dance during the prom, people would just “look” at you… Yet it’s definitely not the same here…

People enjoyed dancing so much! Even I fell in love with the Waltz and other dances! It was so fun and interesting!

Well, the night was GREAT! Guessed I’ll be joining it for next year too!

Spring Break Continues

MOA trip

Date: 3rd April 2010
Venue: Mall Of America, Minnesota
Time: 8.30am – 4pm (including travel time which was about 3 hours in total for 2-ways)
MOA the largest shopping mall in the United States, here I came!

The mall was big as we couldn’t get to walk/shop for the whole building since we had time limit… (went there by joining ChooiWan’s and her host)
People said it’s a must to shop for clothes in MN since clothes are all free of taxes…

And the stops for us would be Forever 21 and H&M before going for other shops…
Yet, I actually didn’t get suitable clothes from these 2 shops at first, but then at the end I went back to them and got myself a few items! Haha… Felt so guilty of myself if I couldn’t get anything here since I had traveled so far… LOLX

Supper of Broccoli rice, baked fish, cake with fresh strawberries and cream as dessert… yummy home-taste~! Haha

Saturday:
Venue: Chippewa falls
Was about to visit the museum of technology or something, but it was closed…
Joined tour for Leinenkugel’s brewery! Interesting~!

Picnic at Irvine Park… Oh come on, I had never done picnic for a long time (and it’s so dangerous to do it in Malaysia, haha)… Jean and Kathy were supposed to join us but they refused as the weather was not that warm compared to the last few days…

The outdoor temperature was alright, yet the chill breeze that “swiped” intermittently made us felt really cold… Hmm, guessed I just brought the winds from windy city of Chicago back to Eau Claire?! Lolx… (I wondered how I withstood the cold weather by wearing just sweater and a thin spring jacket, haha, yay I’m getting stronger! LOL =D)

After the lunch, we visited the park… there’s even a small zoo inside the park!
Hmm… Visited “The Woodshed” at Augusta/Fall Creek which sell Amish’s wood furniture and other woodcraft items… Those stuffs were really nice and delicate… =)

Road trip around these areas… Went on to the Amish Museum but it isn’t open until May… Checked out others country stores too! (which really located around farms, haha)

Dinner of Chinese cuisines~! We ordered food from the Chinese restaurant and Uncle Ray went to the restaurant to get them… We painted/coloured eggs using food colouring after the meals! It was fun =)

Sunday - Easter

Attended Easter’s Church service with Aunt Mary… (Uncle Ray went there in separate cars since he had to “count money” after the service, haha)

Finally dropped by Jean and Kathy’s house, wow, they really have a neat and gorgeous house! Haha

Picked Pauline from KT to join my host’s Easter lunch (actually it was kind of hi-tea since we had our meal at 3pm, lolx)

Good food of hams (real big), salad and others ^^
We had an Easter little game session (looking for coloured eggs at the surrounding of the house) after the great meal! It was quite fun though! hahahha

The Chicago Trip!

Finally, after the long-waiting, here comes our spring break!

Friday

The day which I “officially” commenced my break right after 9am when the Kinesiology class was done… Stayed in my Oak Ridge room doing nothing more than packing stuffs to move down to KT hall for a week (my dorm was closed at 6pm) and wasting time watching videos, lolx…
Thanks Billy for “kind of” helping me to bring my luggage down the hill…

We had Malaysian-styled cuisine for dinner (since the cafeteria would be closed for the whole week)… Thanks our “super-chef” Pang for preparing the tremendously delicious food! Eg: bak kut teh, curry chicken, fried eggs with onion, luncheon meat, and the “something-i-don’t-know-red bean and eggs” haha… I really enjoyed the bak kut teh!! It felt so much like home~! Haha

Saturday

Gathered for Chicago trip! Nice rental cars~!

We stopped by Madison, met up with Yi Jing and Bernard, and then we had our Indian cuisine buffet!
It was really mouth-watering as I had not been eating any kind of Indian food lately… We visited the State Capitol and UW-Madison… Nice!

Continue our journey to Chicago… Reached Hilton Hotel in the evening… the hotel was not located in the city but somewhere like 25 minutes drive… Thanks GPS Garmin gor~~! Hahahhaha

After that, we had our dinner at Chinatown… WOW! I love the food! Haha..

Since it was late, we took a “road” trip in the city by simply driving around! Lol… I was so thrilled when we got to the city, it felt so much like “home” as in it felt like KL (well, KL is only like half or 2/3 of the city I guessed).. At least I was out of the small town of Eau Claire! HAHAHHAA
Finally saw Citibank in the US! Haha

Sunday

Was a windy cold day which I need my winter jacket on, haha! (the windy city of Chicago)

Had our brunch with the treat of dimsum at Chinatown~! (Extremely tasty DimSum I should say) People just shopped around… (wuhuu, with bubble milk tea!~)

Got a bit late when we reached Museum of Science and Industry… Such an elegant building! It was so huge! Yet the interior of the building was so sophisticated!

It’s so worth it as you could really see the “technology” of the century; items were real as they were the one that accomplished those tasks for human beings! They’re now presented in front of you, it was so amazing… (As in I don’t see such things in Malaysia, and we could only see them either from the book or the internet?!)

Funny that we rushed to the lakeside of Michigan Lake and took pictures! The day was awfully chilly and we still forced ourselves to stand at the shore there! Great fun! Hahhaha

Super cool McDonalds in the city:

Dinner was Gino’s East of Chicago (thick crust pizza)… That was a very famous pizza restaurant with a lot of celebrities that had been there… It was a super long line outside the restaurant before we got in… lol… the food was quite good~!

Visited Millenium Park for the night~!

Monday

According to our initial plan, it should be our last day in Chicago… But since we like the city so much (actually that’s because we’re not in schedule of visiting places, haha), we decided to extend for one more day…

Due to that reason too, we couldn’t get a cheaper rate for staying in Hilton Hotel, hence we moved to another hotel which was located in downtown Chicago… Had our breakfast at Panera’s bread~!

We were separated into two groups as ChooiWan, Pang, Billy, Pauline and I had made up our minds to visit the Art Institvte of Chicago, which seemed to be one of the most important highlight in Chicago… The main attraction of the art institute was its collections of impressionism art pieces… (while David, Kay, Stanley and Crystal went to somewhere else in the city)

It was so cool to be so close to the world-famous paintings… Yet some paintings did frustrated us as we sincerely think that those were just some kind of “graffiti”, hahahhahha

Next, we went to the Millenium Park again for the Chicago Bean in daytime! In my opinion, I think that it was way more beautiful during daytime… haha… Took picture with the statue of Abraham Lincoln too! =)

Another great attraction, the Sears (which changed to Willis) Tower! It used to be the world tallest building and was built in 1970s… We were brought to the 103th floor by skydeck in about 30 seconds++ I guessed?! (Saw Petronas Twin Towers when we passed through the corridor before the elevators, hmm, 1998’s building was even lower than Sears Tower, lolx)

That’s the place which you could see the great views of Chicago! The transparent glass walls which expanded out of the building were exceptionally cool!

Dinner at Chinatown again with the treat of Roast Duck/Soya Chicken/Char Siew(BBQ pork) and other Chinese foods~!
Finally, visited the night Navy Pier… It was closed but we still got to walk around, lolx…

Tuesday

Well, the day which we have to leave the great city of Chicago…
We’re again separated into 2 groups since only 4 of us (Billy, Pauline, Pang and I) who wanted to visit the Field Museum(with Dinosaur, hahhaha XD)…

Others went for Todai for Japanese buffet lunch and outlet, while we went to search for a temple at somewhere near Chinatown…

This was the most interesting part of the journey! We had no GPS, so we used Pauline’s Iphone of google map in locating ourselves and trying to find the temple (and getting back into route)…
We kept getting lost, and fortunately we still got to find the temple after an exhausting and exciting trip… (we almost crashed into a big truck, shhh…. lol)...
It was so funny to get lost in a city, and I actually enjoyed that moment! Hahaha… That was a REAL fun and a memorable experience though! Hahhahhaahhaha

At the end, we had our lunch/hi-tea at a Japanese+Cantonese+Korean restaurant at Chinatown… Had “mui choy kou yuk” but it was sweet in taste… hmm… quite disappointed on that dish however other dishes was really good… Returned home with a whole bag of buns and egg tarts from a cake shops along that street too! ^^

Trip ended, it was so enjoyable and I miss Chicago trip!!!!!

Friday Fish Fry

Date: 20th March 2010

Venue: St Raymond’s Church (somewhere outside Eau Claire city); host family’s house

Description: FFF which is kind of a tradition for American to eat fish on Friday… Aunt Mary and Uncle Ray picked me up from dorm and we reached the church at about 5.30pm…

Had delicious baked cod fish and side dishes… Took a quick tour of the beautiful church before we left…

Played card game of Rummy 2000 at my host family’s house before heading back to dorm! I had a long time since I last played that, it was fun! Hahaha (feeling weird to see the house with no more snows covered on it… lol XD)

First Week of University's Life~

To be honest, the university's life that i am experiencing now is really how it ought to be...

Life is just so busy with homeworks and activities!

Well, I'm kind of grateful of how INTI prepared us for US uni-style, (not the part that we're talking in the class/gossiping during break time, etc... hahahha) but the American's way of education..

Talking about my dorm, it just looks exactly like what you see from American's movies or series...

Fully decorated as the way it should be, and people tend to change it like home!

Okay, firstly, the hallway outside my room:

The model that i wanna show to you guys! THE HILL which i have to walk up and down everyday for school! My dorm is located at the upper campus, and my classes are way further than my arrow!!! It's okay to walk when the weather is nice, but definitely not during the freezing winter!!

The group! It was my first experience of Ski-ing! My hands and feet were freezing coz by the time we arrived the destination, it was already night... Couldn't believe that i made my first ski during night time! It was a great fun (especially the "special" performance of Boon How, which made me laughed the whole week! hahahhaha)... At least i learnt how to ski forward, walk and stop... Enough to go for the beginner! haha... Thanks coach! Lolx! I really enjoyed the activity!

Orientation Week

LOL.. i know this is like weeks ago... but i still have to post it.. hahhaha
Orientation was held for 1 week before the school actually started at 25th of January, 2010.
It was funny that right when i was assigned to my orientation group and i realized that the one next to me was ZjenThak, hahaha! We were in the same group with both peer guide of Mary and Linda(from South Korea but attended international school at Malaysia before)...
Orientation wasn't that boring, it was really informative and fun!

Alright, back to pictures, since i'll do my description there, hahhaa (the time here is inverse chronological.. lolx)

The weekend(sunday) of orientation, before spring semester started:
Five of us went to the water street, coz i need to check something at the atm machines of the associated banks there... That day was super cold! And i haven't got my "warm" boots yet!
I was so worried that i would kind of "loss" my toes there! hahhahaa
I think it was snowing too! That's the first time ever since we had arrived...

Saturday: The ice-hockey game of Blugolds vs (i forgot which team)...

We had a dinner treat of KFC! NICEEEE~

The choices that we made were crispy chicken and grilled chicken!(No hot and spicy, haha) Accompanied by marsh potatoes and coleslaw! (& soft drinks from cafeteria, hahaha)

Thanks taxi driver for helping us in ordering the food and his willingness to drive-thru to KFC before dropping us at the campus.. LOLX

At the Mall... The bubble gum was hmm... extremely hard to chew at first! lolx

Anyway, Americans really like chewing gums... But good that people don't "stick" the residue as Malaysian did at everywhere... haha

The food there is great! Tasted so much like Malaysia!!!

We walked from campus to the restaurant! It took like 20 minutes+ i guessed...

I still remembered that it was like negative 10++ degree celsius outside, i could barely feel my feet under that condition! lol

Anyway, i really enjoyed the food there! (at least the rice tasted like rice and i love the spices!!!! hahaha)

The free bowling night at hilltop center~ I played it with Pauline and Kelsey~

My wardrobe/closet?! But it's kind of different right now... hahaha

My bed is the one on top! Covered with blankets from my host family! hahha

And i am good at "extending" my legs all the way up to my bed now! That's how i climb up everyday~ XD

十九的生日礼物，经过了27个小时的飞行，离开了家人和朋友，我终于来到这个距离马来西亚半个地球的美国。第一次度过了人生中36个小时的生日。

从马来西亚到新加坡到日本然后明尼阿波利斯市国际机场，我和宝凌非常幸运地搭上了比我们原定那趟巴士还要早一班的巴士。过了一个半小时的路程后终于抵达威斯康星州的水清市。我的寄宿家庭的玛丽安娣已经在车站等我们。一路上就是被厚厚的雪覆盖着的地面，当我们把行李从巴士转放到车厢的时候，手脚都快冷到发抖了，但是玛丽安娣就说这个星期其实算是暖了一点，还好我们不是上一个礼拜到这里，而且今年的气候温度也没有去年零下三十多度那么差。

我的在这里的“家”坐落在水清市的郊区。房子的四周围都被树林覆盖，每间屋子都和邻居有一小段的距离。一进到屋里，玛丽安娣就带我们四处看看她的家。我选择了住在粉红色的“公主”房，而宝凌则住在了另一间青色的房间。由于宝凌的寄宿家庭在我们到达的这两天出差了，所以她便暂时跟我一起住。真好，至少来到一个完全陌生的国度还有朋友能跟我一起庆祝生日。

玛丽安娣见我们那么劳累，于是便让我们在冲凉后小休了一会。晚上就是我的“生日派对”了。Uncle Ray上班回来了。我在美国的第一顿晚餐加生日大餐就是homemade皮萨和在镇上买来的pie当甜品。真的好好吃哦！我真的觉得好感动，以来到这里就有“家”的感觉。由于玛丽安娣和uncle Ray的孩子都长大了也不住在水清市，所以家里平时就只有他们两夫妻。而我的生日礼物就是一幅温暖的“美国”被。除此之外，他们还准备了“欢迎”我们到来的礼物，也就是能够保暖的米布包。

吃完晚饭后我们就到了处在地下室的家庭厅。玛丽安娣和uncle Ray教了我们如何玩他们家的牌游戏：ＲＵＭＭＹ２０００。这是一个我从来没有玩过的游戏，基本上就是有一些规矩，你能够拿牌放牌然后积分到２０００的人算是赢家。最有挑战性的一点是，每一局都赢得人未必会是最后的赢家，而且领先的人也许也会因为负数而被拖垮。这个游戏还蛮好玩的，而且还会慢慢上瘾呢！哈哈！

第二天早上，吃完早餐以后玛丽安娣就带我们到学校绕了一圈，大略的介绍了水清市。然后我们就到了玛丽安娣义务工作的ＣｈｉｐｐｅｗａＶａｌｌｅｙ博物馆去参观和了解这里的历史和风土人情。我们在里面呆了一个小时多，离开之前玛丽安娣还请了我们吃冰淇淋呢！

由于是星期六的晚上，Ｕncle Ray　的两个姐姐到了我们的“家”来做客。吃了一顿有米饭的晚餐，搭配沙拉和意大利式煮的鸡。晚餐后，我们六个人就继续了昨天的牌游戏。原来这真的是我的寄宿家庭的游戏，因为基本上每一个家庭成员都会玩，不怪的他们在我们来到的第一个晚上就教会我们了。

星期天，宝凌的寄宿家庭终于回来了，也代表我们就要分开几天了。这天的早午餐（brunch）真的很丰富，有英式ｍｕｆｆｉｎ和ｓａｕｓａｇｅ还有ｐａｎｃａｋｅ和牛奶。ｐａｎｃａｋｅ还搭配了玛丽安娣和uncle Ray的朋友送的枫树糖浆。据说是他们亲手去采集的。真的很好吃！

由于uncle Ray忙于在车库里翻新夏天要用的机器，于是aunty mary便带我到了Savers去逛逛。这个卖场里卖的东西都很便宜，大部分都是别人再卖的二手衣物。逛完Savers后，时间还不晚，于是aunty mary便提议去到ChippewaFall（距离水清市差不多半小时路程的一个市镇）去参观这里很有名的啤酒厂-Leinenkugel。本想着能够进到酒厂里面参观的，奈何我们到达的时间刚好错过了最后一班观光团。于是我们便在酒厂设于河边的专卖店免费试喝了这里的啤酒。由于我还不到喝酒的合适年龄，（威斯康星州的合法饮酒年龄是二十一岁以上），所以我被分到一杯新鲜的rootbeer！味道还真不赖。这里的人多数都是和这个牌子的啤酒，一来价钱比较便宜，二来是这里的特产和历史文化。这间啤酒厂算是这一带最古老的商业了。

晚上，uncle ray有个“小”秘密，那就是他是电视剧《绝望的主妇-desperate housewives》的忠实观众，他的孩子们都知道八点这个时间是不用打电话到家里的，因为他肯定会在这个时间段留守在电视前，哈哈。
一月十八日是马丁路德金普日（Dr Martin Luther King’s Day），晚上在大学的教堂有关于马丁路德金普的纪念活动，我的寄宿家庭已经和宝凌的寄宿家庭说好了要一起去。活动在旁晚开始，大约一个小时里有人唱歌，也有人演讲关于马丁路德金普的事迹。活动后，我们便相约在水街（water street）的Dooley’s Pub吃晚餐。

Firstly Happy both lunar and western birthday to myself!
I'm writing this post at Changi Airport now.. Really sien of waiting 6 hours for the transit...
First time gonna enjoy my special extraordinary 36 hours of birthday!
Counting from now until the first day at Eau Claire!

I just left Malaysia.. Left my family, friends and my home...
Heading for my future... In this special day of my life...

Well, I shedded a lot of tears at KLIA, it wasn't the feeling of sadness...
I just don't know why the tears dropped...
I gotta leave my parents, my beloved mom and dad...
Baba, mama, i really love you so much!
This is the best gift for these 19 years, i knew...
Getting whatever i wanted, travelling to the strange new country for my future undertaking...
I really appreciate everything that both of you had done for me...
Of coz, i couldn't list out every single little stuffs that you had done for me..
I truly love both of you from the bottom of my heart, with all my love! (Gor, translate this for me, i couldn't use mandarin to key in at this stupid changi airport free internet access pc, hahahah)

Gor, you always knew you one of the most important people in my life..

We always have the same dreams and i knew we both could achieve them when we're there supporting each other, either mentally or physically..

i- Met at Bukit Jalil LRT and very fortunate that we caught the bus at last minute!

ii- Checked in at Hotel Equitorial... Reached excatly at 1.30pm, the official check-in time! haha

iii- Settled down... Got ready for lunch and day trip!

iv- Visited A-famosa, Dataran Pahlawan, Jalan Kota (with a lot of nice buildings and spots), Christ Church while we're on the way in searching food...

v- Sauntered at Jonker Street.. Had our lunch of nyonya treats at Nyonya Dessert at 3pm! Absolutely yummy!!!

vi- Bought some souvenirs at Jonker Street, rested and headed to Christ Church for photographing session, lolx~

vii- Back to Hotel and had our swimming session! Hmmm... Had our dinner at 10pm at a food court opposite mahkota parade...

viii- Rode the Taming Sari... Nice view up there... Waiting for count down session and lame fireworks at Dataran Pahlawan.. (Luckily that both Mun and I still saw the "shock" lightning just right after fireworks! hahahah, Heng and Vone shouldn't have turned their head off at that time, hehehhee)

Day 2:

i- Pillow talk until 4am... Hmm... We don't really have secrets among us... But we had great talks... hehe.. a lot of funny incidents... keke =D

ii- Should be waking up at 9am, but thanks to Mun "quick" jump (which stopped the alarm of her phone), we woke up at 10am...

iii- Ate light breakfast at hotel room, then we visited Istana... "Shopped" a while in Mahkota Parade and had our lunch... Back to KL at 3pm~

Went to TARC with my family to "support" my brother's final year project! (the car which parked directly in front of the entrance!)... Good job! Saw a guy who won the champion for his work, his project was incredible as the software could be sold for real usage already! haha

The stupid promoter kept on emphasizing on CW 15 while all of us (me, kahmun, bro, winshi, zeeyin) told him that the one that I wanted was CW 16…
He even wrote “CW15”at the invoice there... Well, he finally corrected it to CW 16 when both kahmun and I stressing on the word “16 not 15!”…

Yet, problem arose as the cashier couldn’t comprehend his handwriting..
And well, I am quite “respect” that cashier for being so irresponsible.. Think she only did her duty by typing whatever she saw from the invoice, she never check the price lists…
Or at least, she should have a rough idea on the approximation of the price of the pc la!
And so, the dumb worker just follow the receipt and gave me the wrong laptop which is CW 15…

I realized something was wrong when i got home and trying to fill the warranty information online…
Bigger problem that worried me was that even the receipt also stated wrong pc with the price that I paid…
So, I was like keep blaming my brother! Haha… (know I shouldn’t do that XD)
I told them to check for me at the spot ‘coz I was scared that I might ignored any kind of mistakes…
But then we checked those free items like laptop bag, mp3, memory stick, thumbdrive, and what-so-ever, and we never detected this HUGE mistake!
Was so damn worried at the night…

At the end, we went back to KLCC on the other day and was managed to change back my vaio lappy~
By the time we got there, i told them they got the wrong product for me…
The a promoter approached us and said "is it?"
My bro rebuked: "obviously, look at the price also know la!”
Luckily that the guy was quite cooperative, and did all the remaining process for us quickly… Better than another guy (so called “wen ket you”) who’s so no manners! Hahaha

Anyway, simply just wanna say I love my vaio! Haha ^^

27/11~ Snowflake, Subang with BTG... With lots of people(Yuan, Vone, Yong, Loon, Shu, Chang, Kian and Sun) squeezing in one small table, XD haha... Used up 1 hour to reach SS15 due to some "reasons", haha... Anyway, it was fun chatting around at that "special" table at Asia Cafe.. lolx

29/11~ Went to Ijok with big family to have "beggar-chicken" (hak yi gai)... For me, i think it's just normal "traditional medicine" (yok choi) chicken dish, haha...

1/12~ Together with my best college buddies: Pauline and SueYen... We're supposed to meet up at my house but ended up pauline and i went to Yen's house and fetch her since she woke up late! hahaha.. We went to Times Square before heading to Wisma MCA to get Pauline's Visa at 3pm...

Watched New Moon, and to be honest, i think the trailer is way better than the movie itself.. haha.. It followed almost everything from the book, but i still think that the book is better than the movie... haha... Well, Jacob (Taylor Lautner) was so hot in the movie compared to Edward.. Gonna be in team Jacob for the movie although i am a team Edward for the novel, hahahha (same as Fel, lolx)

Funny as by the time i wanted to buy tickets, there're a bunch of people who were queueing at the reservation counter, i was wondering why so many people had reserved the tickets.. Without further thinking, i walked in straight to the normal counter which nobody was queueing.. At the end, i was at the right lane and those people who're queueing there had to line up behind me, hahah.. Accidentally(not exactly) met Chong Yew and his cousin at Border's Starbuck... Actually i didn't realise him, good that he saw me rushing in cinema and texted me...

Back to Sri Petaling for Pizzahut's treat (=.=") after getting the visa, haha.. swt... Accompany SueYen for her last cervical cancer injection (so out of frame, haha) at Klinik Chan.. And then we walked together at the Pasar Malam which was not completely "lively" with drizzling, haha...Overall, a wonderful outting! keke

5/12~ Yamcha with BTG at kopitiam (OLD TOWN, not HAILAM la, hahah)... There're so many of us which is kind of out of my expectation.. haha... (AnCherng, ChuKean, Fai, Yun, Wah, XiuHeng, KahMun, Chang, Shu, Wai Loon, Yong, Vone, HoweKian, JinKuan)...

Then we had a really funny chat of Triangle and circle while Vone, Mun, Heng and i decided where to go next with Chang and Yong who're still standing with us outside Kopitiam... Crazy Mun, Heng and i got lots of topic going on with one word "clipping" 夹... hahahahha XD.. Finally we got to Yuan's house and continue our "7-ppl-gang" chatroom... Chatted/gossiped until 1am >.<...

Well, there's an incident when Heng parked his car outside Yuan's house.. He forgot to take out the car key when he locked the car!!!!!! So, we're waiting for his sister to rescue us as he has to drive Vone, Mun and me home.. haha~ anyway, great yamcha as i kept laughing with that "inner strength" hahaha!

Time: 10.30am-8pm

Day started as Xiu Heng reached my house at 10.20am and i drove there at 10.30am.. Reached (+parking) TimeSquare at about 11.45am due to heavy traffic and i accidentally missed the junction which led me to a longer route, arghhhh!

Met up with Chong Yew who had been "fatt mou" waiting for the two of us outside Neway...

Had our "quality" karaoke session which lasted till 2pm... (very very puncture.. think it's because too many customers here, lol)

Something funny about the bean of the salads.. the one which we normally eat only the seed inside, but Heng ate the whole piece of bean and told us that the taste was awful.. both Yew and i laughed till our tears burst out! lolx! (funny incident about the faeces inside female's restrooms too.. XD)

Saw a lot of teens (really teens as most of them were way shorter than Yew, well, not being sarcastic, hahaha)...

I purposely wore in a "way" different from normal TS teens, and Yew said there're a lot of people "scrutinizing" my appearance, oh, okay, probably it's because Yew is too lengzai! hahahhahhahaha

Had a great time hanging aroung with them, Yew kept "criticizing" people with a sarcastic tone and both Heng and i also joined him, hahahhahahha! It had been a long time since i laugh in this manner, lolx!

We tried to find a place for us to yamcha and chat, it turned out we couldn't find our desired destination and we walked from TS to SW, plan failed..

We headed to LY instead, trying to find the place, hopeless, and we ended up in old town T.T... Had a long discussion, we decided to stay late till night to avoid traffic jam (that's the second reason, the main reason was to talk more, and gather longer, haha)

After the yamcha session, since we had more time in hand, we walked to L10 and strode to Pavilion... Think we had our "jogging" for almost 5 hours for the day, i can feel my muscle-ache this morning... LOL

Chat a lot while we were doing window shopping... So coincidence that we met Li Jin and siblings and cousins when we're about to go home... They were on the way back to TS to get their car too! fated.. we ended up walking back to TS together~ haha

Day ended as i drove Yew back to his PJ house and Heng followed me back to my house while waiting for his father to fetch him...

A good outting for the debater group, the zhaolu's editors and "pao tui", the 12-years-friend and "7-years-friend"... hehe, appreciate the moment~ ^^

23/11~ outting with pauline.. finally got to treat her the face-to-face i promised.. hahaha, there's promotion now! went to Sunway as usual.. bought quite a lot of things that we needed/satiated... hahahah

just wondering why so coincident that we didn't meet April at all.. wrong timing la! hahaha

2012, Birthdays, A+A+

Purpose: Watch 2012!

It was Jia Chang’s idea to watch 2012 that night since he was so eager!
He reached my house at 7pm and drove us to the mines to get the ticket while waiting for the others (Wai Yong, Ye Vone and Enoch… Yeik Huei, Zer Yun and Kah Mun couldn’t join us as they all got infected by Conjuctivitis… lol) to meet up with us..

Unfortunately, the movie seemed like a blast, and the tickets of the show were all sold out! (Dammit XD)
And since Chang was so upset, we changed our destination to Cheras Selatan which we thought there would be less people..
We were startled as the screen first shown tickets were sold out, we approached the counters and luckily we managed to grab 2 tickets and the other 3 tickets from a bunch of teens (still form 2 form 3 i guessed, lolx)…

wai yong and enoch~ Enoch finally returned my little red book after sooo many months! hou choi he didn't lost it! haha

Movie started, and we’re not having good seats.. Chang and I passed the 2-seats-tickets to the couple and we’re quite regretted ‘coz the 3-should-be-together-seats were seriously annoying!
Both Chang and I sat at the first row right beside the wall (T.T arghhh) and Enoch who sat apart from the staircase which separated us.. lolx.. (cant share popcorns with him, nevermind, he should keep fit! Hahaha)
It turned out to be a great movie as I didn’t anticipate much.. really a nice movie that the ticket fees worth it! Haha

Well, we had a funny incident happened during the movie screening… During the movie(when those buildings were falling off due to the earthquake), the screen suddenly blanked out!
At first, we all thought it was part of the movie since there’s a sound effect following it! Hahahahha
Clock tick-tock, and audiences finally knew that something was wrong.. lolx..
Seconds later, the screen “revived” and “shut down” again with the same funny sound effect.. Enoch, Jia Chang and I were chit-chatting there while waiting for the movie to be on screen again! Hahaha

Fortunately the movie continued after few minutes and ended in the midnight~
We headed back to the foot court near my house and yamcha for hours.. lolx
Oh ya, Chang almost hit the barrier of the road at the u-turn there when we’re on the way home, lucky that Enoch called attention at the very last minute with a “cute” and soft whisper, haha…

Well, quite a nice experience when Sue Yen and I rushed to buy the Orange Spaghetti-in-aluminium-lunch-box from Kitschen for Xiao Wei as birthday present, suit her so much… for “eating” purpose! Hahaha XD

Got the semester grade report for my last/6th semester in INTI…
4.0 GPA, XP with 2 A+ for my Differential Equation MAT 242 and Statistic 1 STA 303…
Really happy and glad! Thanks god~ I only hoped for 2 As… haha
Funny to see both Regent and Sherine there when they asked for my result.. ‘coz subjects that I took last sem was with either one of them respectively and they both got A+ too…
So coincident! Haha
Finally got to bring my mom to snowflakes~ and met a xueji~ lolx

Visa Interview

Time: 7.25am – 9am
Venue: US Embassy, Kuala Lumpur

Well, to be honest, my interview session was really fast, it took less than 5 minutes..
Lucky that I met a nice officer who was like chatting with me only… haha

Here’s the detail of my interview:
First question was "so, you are from inti, right?"
Yes!

After that he asked me to pass the transcript to him.
“oh your results are good”
“it's getting better at the end there”

then he flipped to the last few sems and said “wow, young lady you did pretty well your parents must be happy!”
“oh, well, ya thank you haha”
"you going to wisconsin eau claire huh, which month? it's going to be cold"
“january, the coldest month”
"oh, then you must prepare a lot of warm clothes, it's really cold"
“ya, I’m quite worry too, haha.. ”

Then the whole interview session was finished after I passed him the financial statement for checking purpose. I was just standing there and waiting for him to key in all the data and passed me the visa “yellow” card, lol..
Before I left he told me to work hard in the US too!
He also reminded me to bring my I-20 with me during the flight, lolx
Haha so nice of him~

There’re 2 other officers who were more strict I think, 1 with really strong accent and the other 1 was an asian..
The asian officer asked a guy who’s going for internship whether he will come back after his internship or not..
That guy answered he would, ‘coz his family is here, he doesn't want to abandon his family bla bla bla…
Yet, the officer rebuked "my family is at US too, are you saying that i am abandoning my family there?!"
WAHLIAO EH!
Suting, Nate and I were like “huh, then what should we tell them?! That’s the kind of answer we should give right?!” According to miss michelle, hahaha…

I went in the embassy at 8am, I think student visa has a priority, ‘coz my ticket number was A20..
But it was my turn for the interview right after SuTing’s A10, hahaha!
And then parents and I went to collect and pay the air fare at Menara TA one…
We parked our car at KLCC and walked there =.=”, haha…

Hey people, I’m flying on 14th Jan, 1 day before my 19th birthday T.T, remember to send me to the airport arh! hahahhaha

小娘惹...遗憾

我就是想写下这部戏囤积在我心里的感受。
看了结局，觉得好遗憾。为什么两个相爱的人不能够在一起。
整个故事的苦情，感觉上就和琼瑶的戏很相似。
但至少琼瑶的戏，哭哭啼啼到最后还是会有happily-ever-after。
男女主角不就是应该在一起的吗？
看完了，我真的很心痛，很感伤，很遗憾。
虽然这个结局对月娘和陈锡都算得上是个完整的结局。（我只会用完整，而不是完美）

我习惯看戏看了一部分后，就去找synopsis，然后“读”完整个故事，再慢慢观赏。
然而，这次我把自己控制得很好。（因为放假，天天“煲”剧煲到三根半夜，哈！）
我很仔细的把整部戏都看完了。
月娘是个很坚强的角色，也很讨观众喜欢，
而最后，她做了一个她觉得对她和陈锡都是最好的决定。

她离开他，她逃了3次，我真的觉得她很傻，
或许这样她才觉得对得起玉珠吧。但是，我却认为玉珠到最后却是白白牺牲了。
陈锡以为月娘在大火中烧死了，也就开始了自己另一段生活，
虽然说，月娘的心里永远都有陈锡，而陈锡也永远都会把月娘放在心上，
但是我真的觉得非常痛心，
遗憾为什么经历了那么多的事，那么多千方百计的挫折，
他们一起面对了，解决了，却不能够在一起。

喜欢“还我鸡汤”和“牛仔”之间的化学作用，
其实故事是有一点老土啦，真的可以估计剧情会怎么发展。（除了到最后陈家少爷和月娘之间的没缘份）
喜欢他总能够在她最艰难的时候帮助她，就算她不领情，就算她都能化险为夷。
喜欢她的坚强，她的勇敢，她的智慧。但讨厌她的伟大。
喜欢他的坚持，他的告白，他的才智。
喜欢他们感情中的缘份，喜欢他们之间的故事。

说到尾，就是讨厌那个结局，不怪得有人批评说“feel like being cheated”当他们注定不再相会。
我宁愿火车轨道上的拥抱就是结局，我恨不得他们紧紧相依的那一刻就是永远。

原来当一个人习惯了happily-ever-after，就会觉得另一种结局，是个不能被容忍的错误。
把我的想法写了下来，是我，想要把感觉留下。

今年到现在为止，我的TOP 5 戏剧：
１－绝代商骄
２－痞子英雄
３－小娘惹
４－学警咀击
５－先保留，哈哈。。。

就这样，我只是想说，《小娘惹》真的很好看，
文化背景不错，制作也在新加坡戏中算是很严谨的。
虽然很遗憾，这也就是说它真的震撼到我的内心，呵呵～

Lovely Holiday

Officially started my semester break from this week onwards (which i already commenced it myself right after my Stats finals on thursday last week)...

Lovely holidays which will last until i leave to US next january~ wuhu~

and holidays is definitely meant for woolgathering!!

(It's printed on my pyjamas! great! hahahah "Pretty girl enjoy holiday")

Had my D.E exam on 28/10/09...

Finally i got to see a mathematic paper which looked like a mathematic paper..

something familiar with the normal practices that we did... Luckily that it was prepared by Mr. Sam, haha...

Went to A-levels office with April and Jaren to take picture with Mr Sam...

We waited for a long time before we got to meet him, ended up chatted a lot with Mr Sam about life, family, education ++ for almost 1 hour.. (and i still have stats exam on the next day =.=")

Stats finals was alright, set by our lecturer, Ms Cetha..

The paper was closed to those practises we had been doing along...

Some even resembled the exercises yet dealing different figures...

I am the kind who don't like to remember what Maclaurin's series is, i always skip anything related to it when D.E related to it...

Fortunately, it popped out in my mind and i was able to prove the Poisson's distribution which i thought i would've forgot how to solve during the exam, haha...

Yet, still did some careless mistakes, aiks... A and A = A with only 1 arrangement... not A1 or A2, lolx!!

And that brought the end of my final semester in INTI~

30/10~ Accompanied mom to market in the morning, then visited her friend who just moved to Puncak Jalil... Then, i went to Equine park to retrieve my watch with new leather... Night, yamcha with only few BT gangs~~

(if you could see that, the basketball stucked at the net there, so they're trying to set free of it using the mop stick... funny huh... caught that while i was waiting for ah Fai to fetch me for yamcha at Salak South Garden's Basketball court... my bro was there, if you can see... haha)

1/11~ enjoyed holidays with PPS~ hahahahhaha (any nice movies/dramas suggestions?)

2/11~ went to aunt's house and received lots of nutmegs (which i asked her to buy for me) from cousin sister who just decided to stay in KL rather than Penang after spending few years there, lolx~

3/11~ got my facial done... Purposely drove to April's house at Ampang to take back my files which i had left over in her car after exams...

since i had even forgotten my I-20 and other important stuffs with her... haha

4/11~ pasar malam with Chu Kean and Jia Chang, really fun hanging, walking, joking around... haha.. waiting for rain to catch us halfway~

5/11~ Outting with April and Pauline... April fetched me to Pauline's house, and PauLine drove her car for the events...

Visa application procedure: paid the fees at Alliance Bank, back to INTI for Ms Michelle's help for the remaining process~

Coincidently that Laureate's VIP came, and securities stood straight at the main entrance, we just entered (drove in) the building without checking, lolx!

After that we went to Sunway and sang Karaoke~ Couldn't do much shopping since April had to reach home before it's dark, tsk tsk tsk, LOL XD

6/11~ Sent mom for facial at The Mines... Got a new/extra spectacle for myself to bring to oversea~

Spent my time at Starbucks with a caramel frappucino grande and Breaking Dawn...

Accidentally met Bro and WinShi when we were about to go home, haha!

(The frappucino and my breaking dawn... new specs down there, haha)

Daily Holiday Routine: Sleep for at least 8 hours per day, PLAY, watch PPS, facebook, MSN, play piano (any pieces that i like,very random, haha), reading novels, Jamming Metal Slug with my bro~

P/s: Don't be so jealous of that schedule, i had been earnestly looking forward for it! BLEK XP

Last Day of Classes in INTI

23th of October, 2009...
Finally, here comes to the end of my 6th semester in INTI. (although my finals are on next week la, wed and thurs)
Time passed really fast... But i don't really have the feeling of "last day of classes", it's just like usual...
Had lunch with dear Pauline (who i seldom meet this semester, really miss her muchie, hehe), April, Fang Kai, Yann Huoy, Yen Loo, Thong Yang them... and with Qisti and Zjen Thak joined us halfway... Accidentally met Boon Han, Chew and Ryan when i was walking to my car, haha...

Yet, today was kinda strange too..
I seldom (or never) been late in the class for more than 15 mins, but then i was late during the last day of class!
It was due to the silly small holes on the road outside my house... Somewhere near the junction and the traffic light...

There're lots of holes and usually i don't really pay attentions to them and i got to pass by easily..
But then something went wrong today as i accidentally hit 1 hole, and the hole seemed to be REALLY deep although it looked like a small pore!
Damn it, i heard my tyre's "wheezing" sound, and i stopped my car at the parking slot of a government building directly in front of Astro Entrance.
I quickly called my dad and he asked me to check if the tyre had been punctured...

I went back and forth from the driver's seat to the front left tyre for 3 times and i "diagnosed" it as it had punctured...
Wanted to save it myself, but at the end, i told my dad to come and rescue me since i was near to my house...
Procedure had taken up 15 mins, (i departed late to school, almost 7.20am only i left my house), and i reached college at 8.30am =.="

Statistic class was like normal, just that only 66.67% of the classmates were in, 3 went out after the first hour for business comm's assignment, 1 was in the SOSAM office doing stats make up test.. (3=aaron, chew and ryan, 1=april)
only the remaining 5: Ree Gent, Yen Loo, Yann Houy, Fang Kai and me were hardworking, doing the final review question... haha

And, we took our class photo and by tagging those who were not in the scene at the whiteboard there.. haha
oh forgot to mention, Miss Cetha-Stat lecturer was so nice for adding marks for my test 2..
There's 1 question which most of the classmates got 3 marks and i only had 2.5 marks,
i approached her, and she changed it to 3.5,
then she asked me if there's any mistake elsewhere,
i told her no, she checked and added another 2 marks at other questions 'coz she said it's just approximation and i should have been given marks for that,

haha, so out of expectation.. lolx

Stat class was always cheerful, there's only 9 of us and we used to talk and chat A LOT during the break or even during the class, haha..
I had never been in the same class with Yann Houy, Yen Loo, Ryan, Fang Kai and Chew, although i got to know first 3 of them in my 2nd sem...
Lucky that we still had this chance to be in the same class, hahaha...
Miss Cetha understands mandarin, she said i looked like 范文芳Fann, the famous singapore actress, lolx...

We used to talk in mandarin among classmates, only 1 case which Aaron doesn't understand mandarin and Miss said he should learn the language too, lolx

About D.E class, at first, i don't really adapt to the way Mr Sam lectures...
He's so different from Miss Shanta and i had been "following" Miss Shanta for 3 long semesters...
However, the way he teaches is more interesting and funny...
For the 2 hours of class, he only used up to 30 minutes to complete the lecture of the day and we will continue practising the skills or solving questions after that..
Through this method, we have to think more and try harder to elaborate the concept into exercises... I like this...

Yet, sometime i hate his exercises too, 'coz there's typing error which made the question unsolvable, and i once thought that's my problem... hahaha

D.E class was fun as i always made jokes of Sherine and April.. We chatted lot while doing exercises, and we laughed even more, haha...
And with Jun Yih, Tze Yang and Charles who made good reason to go to "so-called-library" during the break... Daryl and Elvin who chatted with April for at least quarter of the class hour, haha...

Thanks Sherine for helping me to erase my "seriously-hard-to-rub-manuscripts" with the lead which has existed for more than half a decade... hehehe~

Test 2 was quite lengthy and i got 100% for it, so happy, haha..
I am satisfied with it 'coz the test was growing wild at the end when people starting to discuss and copy...
I didn't copy anything, i had done my own part.. but i did pass my paper to sherine as she checked both our answers... I was really tired of checking it, it was already 6 o'clock in the evening... haha

I still remember the last question was sooooo complicated..
there're 5 unknowns and i solve them one by one by substitution, then Mr. Sam came to me and told me that we can actually use calculator...
Er... He taught me at that moment, but i didn't really catch up with it.. and finally he showed me and i got my answer correctly..

huu.. i will be frustrated if my ABCDE unknowns are wrong... i wasted a lot of time there, haha
Mr Sam even checked one of the question for me, then i looked up at him and he said "hmm... correct... oh, it's nothing, 'coz half of the class got it wrong.." =.= zadao
and at the end, both sherine and i were the first to hand up the paper... haha

Well, Guessed i should go back to formulas, equations... differential equations and statistic 1 now...

流行花园里，腾堂静说过“一双好鞋会带你到你想要去的地方”。
以前的我，对这句话并没有多大的感触。
而现在，终于慢慢理解它深藏的含义了。
或许是当人长大了，面对的事情越来越多，
也就学会了如何去剖析身边的人事物。

好鞋的定义，其实很难被区分。
一个好动的女生，一双白帆布鞋或运动球鞋；
一个好强的上班族，一双高贵强势的高跟鞋或名牌皮革鞋；
一个随性的作家，一双舒适又古灵精怪带着可爱的拖鞋；
一个辛勤的蓝领，一双破烂但能够抵抗风雨的雨靴；
一个温婉的主妇，一双抚育及呵护的平底布鞋；

因为，一双适合自己的鞋子，
无论是高跟又或者平底鞋，不惧是街边还是名牌货，
能够让自己毫不掩饰，没有丝毫负担，又能承载起理想的，
我想就是一双好鞋吧。

人一生中需要很多双不一样的鞋，
从小时粉红的娃娃鞋，到那白色的校鞋，和后来那宝蓝色的高跟鞋。
每一双鞋的定义截然不同，
人生转转折折，却不见得能够对当初的选择保留多深的专情，
只是，时间到了，
有些事就算是无法抛下，也得继续的前进。

但我只想找那么一双，

Hi-tea with Mom~

Was supposed to have the hi-tea with Pauline, as we got the voucher during INTIball, the one who led to hi-tea free for two..

But then plan changed abruptly 'coz Pauline's jaw was hurted or something and she couldn't turn out...

So, that resulted in the date of my mom and me~ hahaha

Mom and i got really full after the hi-tea.. Actually the food there was just ordinary, only the environment that counts...

Promised to treat Pauline a F2F after all.. hahaha....

* Went for the movie screening on Friday night at college... We're quite punctual for the event but then it started late =.="

Thus pauline, sue yen, april and i stalked to Snowflakes for desserts... Still, we attended the event after the movie had screened for one hour.. haha

Zimui's Sleepover

Well, night started with yamcha with Yeik Huei, Wai Yong, Chun Kit, Ka Wah, Jia Chang, Chu Kean, Lee Ling, Jin Kuan, Jun Kang, Kah Mun and Huey Yuan at Little Tree, Kuchai Lama at 8.45pm...

Whole Sri Petaling and Salak South Garden area were "black-out" due to electricity shortage, quite scary actually.. hahah

Short yamcha ended up quite early at 10.30pm.. Then 3 of us (Yuan, Mun and me) shifted from Little Tree to Sweet Bean...

Tended to wait for Vone whom primary schoolmates' gathering ended at almost 12am =.=" so nice of us!

Rundown of Sleepover:

1~ Back to my house by Yuan's car... Walk here and there, quench thirst, etc...

2~ In my room, doing make-up?! LOLx while waiting for Vone to get bath...

3~ Girls' talk... Life's talk.. hahaha

4~ Pillow's talk and stupid hyperactive Yuan who was jumping here and there...

5~ Continue Pillow's talk until 4am... SLEEP!

Finally received my 4.0 gpa president's list certificate..

Event started with the photography session which only 3 president list's award recipients and i was standing at the center again! hahaha

So disappointed that our principal, Mdm Joyce was absent on this day!

And again, i got my cert from the academic dean, Dr Ng..

ARH!! geramnya! it was the third times i received an award from her!

Last 2 times were for the dean's list...

Know what, when i knew i got president's list, i was so happy that at last i can get my prize from principal and not academic dean..

Yet, my "bad presentiment" seemed to bring about.. so sad..

My mom said, oh, this lady gave you the cert again..

Ya, again.. All my photos linked to her... maybe i am too fated to her.. lolx...

Well, during the award presentation, i was the first to go on stage..

haha, honoured but i have to wait for the long queue to end the ceremony before heading for refreshment...

should went snowflakes but canceled due to my dad who needed to rush back to work.. haha

Went for a "trip" at Jia Chang's new house on our way home from puchong.. so weird, lol XD

(lolx, i waited at vone's house from 2.30pm to 3pm since she hadn't took her bath by the time i asked her out, approx 1pm, till i reached her dwelling, haha)

Erm, we did a lot of walking... Both of us finally bought new clothes and vone is really satisfied with her "war trophies", she had bought 2 clothes, 1 bag in sequence! haha

Well, the original plan was supposed to go bandar puteri, yet, we ended up at the area nearer to our place..

Had a great time with my hubby anyway, hahaha! Wasted for the other 2 zimui who didn't join us.. hehe

i was the "director" of this whole set, but ended up she didn't buy this, haha.. this was just for "display" purpose, lolx!

Mid-Autumn Family Dinner

Venue: Third Aunt's House at Cheras

(should be arriving early but was late due to the dating just now, hahahah, MRR2 was so damn jam and we chose another way into KL and reached without any serious jam! haha)

A quite sumptuous dinner with about 13 of dishes cooked my aunts...Greatest thing was the barbeque after the dinner..
Can you imagine how full of we right now? haha...

Had a great time joking around with cousins and other relatives... we ended our dinner at 8pm and began BBQ party at 10pm... first time that our whole family stayed late for so long i guessed... Process of grilling food and kindling fire were really fun! haha

Tenji Buffet Lunch

My family had planned to go for a buffet lunch there for a long time (to celebrate my president list according to my bro, so called... haha)..
Finally we made it... It was quite a sudden decision...
I put on a note in front of my room's door the day before the lunch suggesting about it...
Then when i woke up, my mom said dad didn't leave a word about it..
So, assuming it was canceled...

Yet, during my stats class at 10.45am, my bro suddenly called me and asked me to prepare for the lunch... And they will pick me up at school at 12pm..
I used my 4-hours break in between of stats and differential equation to get all these done! hahaha XD
Wahliao, so sudden... i should have wore "prettier" clothes, hahaha!
Anyway, we reached the destination at about 12.30pm and started our meals right after that..

The lunch time was supposed to begin at 11.30am to 4pm...
However, we were so fulled and i don't think i was able to "stuck" in anymore food, so we ended up early...
My dad needed to rush back to work too... as he had an appoinment with someone, lolx...
Erm.. Food and environment was not bad there, but jogoya is way better! haha

It was an unbelivable successful gathering.. I first thought it would be quite boring..
Yet, it turned out completely different!
Everyone was so enthusiatic! There's about 20++ of us during the night!

It had been 7 years since so many of us got to gather back!

Well this is how the story begins:

At the beginning only 5 of us(Chang, Mun, Heng, Yong and me; An Cherng and Fai went to somewhere else... lolx) who wanna sing k...

So we approached the counter and ask the receptionist for a room of 5 persons..

Then they informed us that the k-box were full already, if we really intend to sing we need to take a larger suite which is for 7 ppl...

Consequently, we need to divide 7 pax among 5 of us which mean RM 13++ each..

Yet, when kah mun saw that she quickly said "don't wan" 'coz she caught in the same situation the last time she been there...

Thus we went down to the pool there and trying to figure out what to do next...

Suddenly i popped out an idea and suggested 3 of us excluded chang and mun go upstair again and ask for 3 pax...

Attempted to observe how they response, we just lied to them that the other 2 went home and left the 3 of us who still want to sing..

This time, they told us that small rooms were no longer available, so they insisted us to take a medium room instead...

Subsequently, i asked them what's the "smallest" medium room and the receptionist replied that the smallest would be 5 pax and we can get 5 drinks for that..

I pretended like "very unlikely" to sing for 5 pax and stood at the corridor there to dicuss...

At the end, we went in the room of 5 pax and asked chang them to come in in 10 mins lolx..

So, be smart everyone, next time if you really need to go there, must lie to them too since they treat their customers like that~

A Long Day... (18/9/2009)

8-10am - Statisctics Test 1... argh! i ruined my standard deviation! i forgot to square root it.. stupid of me.. lolx.. (just had D.E test 1 on thurs too... questions can be considered as "simple" but not easy la... haha)

10-10.25am - hang around at INTI before leaving to Puchong...
10.35am - reached Puchong Puteri Citibank and met up with my dad and bro... Then entered the bank to settle credit cards thingy... (Incidents at Citibank were quite funny too, haha)

12.10pm - Finally got banking stuffs done and moved to have our lunch somewhere nearby...
12.15pm - Lunch at a nice restaurant in Puteri area too ( i forgot the name already, but it's something like "真不同" or something according to my dad.. ahaha).. That restaurant was not bad.. delicious food and reasonable price~

1.10pm - My bro and i separated with my dad who continue to work... We travelled to Seri Kembangan's Post Office, the main branch through Bandar Kinrara and Puncak Jalil (to show my bro that these areas are inter-connected, lolx) to collect an item...
2pm - Reached home and rested for 5 mins... Waited for my bro to get his hair done and we (my mom, bro and i) headed to Endah Parade Carrefour... My bro needed to renew his IC and my mom and i went to buy some groceries... Oh ya, saw Chun Hoe and a girl at Carrefour when we left.. lolx!

3pm - Approached to OUG to buy ingredients for baking mooncakes...
3.30pm - Went to Aunt May's house and passed few clothes to her... chat for a while and rushed to a garage to take bro's Mini...

4.30pm - Had refreshment at Desa Petaling... After that, bro continued the "journey" as he needed to go back to old house and returned an item to my uncle.. And hence, my mom and i went back to home earlier...

5pm- finally reached home... Took my bath and surfing net while waiting for my hair to get dried...
5.50pm - Nap!!
7.30pm - Dinner time~
8pm - Facebooking, it was raining outside.. Yamcha changed to 9pm...

8.40pm - Left my house with bro, fetched Yuan, Enoch and WinShi... Yuan, Enoch and i were the first to be at the yamcha venue at 9.15pm, yet we're not the punctual ones too... haha
9.15-11pm - Yamcha and everyone (Pui Sun, Yeik Huei, Zer Yun, Ye Vone, Wai Yong, Chun Kit, Kah Mun and Jia Chang) started to join the group (except for An Cherng who broke his promise at the last min, hahaha)

11pm - Moved to Yuan's house for further discuss about the trip... Ended up we played lots of games at Yuan's "pondok" at her dooryard... The "nicknames" game was tiring! we're exhausted after 2 games and we commenced another game called "role-playing" hahahha! Zer Yun's idea of Jia Chang pretending "someone" was so funny! Late night, at 12.30am i think, Ka Wah finally joined us... and we played the nickname game for 1 more round (so coincidence that we had 13 people, haha)...

1am - Another yamcha session at Mirasaa, waited for my bro to fetch me home...

Here ended my long day~ i knew, all of us have the same 24 hours la... hahahha

P/s: Had lunch with college friends (April, Sue Yen, Wilson, Justin)... gossiped for quite a long time, hahahhaa... Ended when Xiao Wei and Jun Yih joined us... LOLX... Should have lunch with Yann Huoy, Yen Loo and Ryan them.. but we were separated into 2 gangs out of sudden... fine, 'coz they went to McD which i just had it on tues, hahaha.. Talked to Miss Julia about Eau Claire, Wisconsin.. She really gave a lot of useful advices... hehe

Horrible incident!

I almost couldn't take out my contact lens from my right eye today!
It was so scary!

Well, this was how the incident happened.
As usual, i tried to remove my contact lens after school..
I started with my right eye and it seemed pretty hard to take it out, so i paused and removed the contact lens on my left eye..
It was smooth. Then i returned to right eye with more effort..
I used the "full" strength which my eye could sustain, and dealt with the contact lens...
Yet! i still unable to remove it.. i was kind of panic and nervous..

And it reminded me of what happened to my collegemate KT's sis KC.. Last time she couldn't take her contact lens out and she went to see doctor..
The doctor used something like clamp and attempted hardly, but it failed..
So she just went to bed and decided not to bother it anymore.
That night, she felt her eye sore until she woke up from sleep..
She approached to hospital and the specialist said the contact lens was no longer there, but her cornea had been badly scratched so she had to wear something like "protecting shield" to cover her eye from other harms for few weeks..

That's the reason why it worried me! i scared i will turn out like that too!
I took my bath.. and then i thought of so many ways to figure out the best solution...
At the end, i used my fingertip to "peel" out the boundary of the contact lens...
Fortunately, this method worked out during the 2nd attempt! i peeled it and quickly grabbed it to prevent it from sticking back!

Huu..... I think i had phobia now... Thinking if i would wear it again.. hahaha

*p/s: oh ya.. life at INTI AUP office is so dry now... I reached school early today and i went in AUP office.. what i saw was mostly unfamiliar faces... sob.. haha

My first week of Last Semester~

Well, i am taking Differential Equation and Statistic 1 this semester...
Stats was alright, nice hanging in a small class of 9 classmates, lolx (not Pn. Yasmin this time, haiz, hahahhah, but the lecturer now is nice 'coz she printed everything out for us...and i am the class rep, lolx)
D.E, come on, it had been a long time since i last "sleep" with calculus 2..
It's better to take this course right after cal 2, oh gosh, it has been 1 year!! it was in my 2nd semester! May session 2008, haha!
Mr Sam said students who take D.E after taking Calculus 3 and Linear Algebra will be in torment this semester... lolx, i think he is pointing straight to me... hahaha!

And ya, i was working in the marketing office due to pauline's "recommendation"...
It's quite lifeless but fun too! We had been given the chance to approach to strangers lolx..
worked as an office girl there, haha
finally know the "legendary" Ong, hahaha~!
nice chatting with May Chong and Mr. Ang in the MKT office too! hehe

I was working as piano replacement tutor at 29/8/2009... I taught from 1pm until 8.30pm with 30 mins break at 7pm... wahliao... so damn tired...
i gave lesson to 10 students... most of them were grade 4 to 5.. but there're 2 small kids (elder and younger brothers) who were "hyperactive" who requested me to play games with them when we had free time before the class ended...
LOL, i actually never played games during my piano lesson.. seriously dunno what game to let them play...
then they told me the game that they wanted to play was "counting beats using musical instrument(percussion)".. lame... but funny! haha

short semester!! gonna do my homework now.. tests are coming soon! lolx
(oh ya.. should have finished giving tuition, yet, i still have to give additional tuition for another 2 months for my "naughty" student, aiks... hahahaha... all the best for my student who is going for UPSR tomorrow~!)

oops, i forgot to include sing k session with maychong, weihsien, joey and pauline (thanks pauline for reminding me, lolx).. we went to neway for k-lunch (no longer RM 5++) at subang on friday... joey was crazy! pauline and i totally agreed that she can sing without using the mic, hahah~ finally got to sing with maychong, we had fun!! wei hsien was kinda shy since he only made 1 or 2 solos, hahahha~ maychong was very yeng 'coz she ponteng from work for 3 hours, hahahha!

and that evening shopping with hubby ye vone... walked until our legs ached... but i really enjoy hanging out with my zimui.. yamcha with BT gang at Hailam Kopitiam Sri Petaling... then headed to lok lok which was only a walking distance from the kopitiam... funny incidence of meatball there with huey yuan and i... lolx

4.0 GPA, President's List, hey hey!

YEAH!!!! I am soooooo happy...

Finally that i managed to achieved 4.0GPA during my INTI AUP's life...

It's the last chance already... So thrilled that i did it, thanks god~

Our grading standard is really difficult... 85-89 would be A and 90 to 100 would be A+.. both with the grade point of 4.0 (but 80-84 with A- would be only 3.67 and 75-79 with B+ is just 3.33, big gap, hard to maintain)...

I still remember times that i got my previous semester reports..

Bro teased me for not going to get a gpa of 4.0 in INTI.. and me too, never had the confidence to actualize that...

I only prayed for Dean's list...

But this time, i indubitably did my very best, i went in the exam hall quite tranquilly (as i had already sent my transcipt, haha)...

Damn glad and gratified that i made it, proved it to my bro! lolx...

Well, only 4.0gpa with 12 credits hours will be elligible to get award...

I got A+ for both Stats and Physics.. An A for Linear Algebra...

My coursework for Stats was 55/60, which means i got about 90 marks in my finals to get A+..wow.. can't believe i accomplished that!

Physics was alright, as i mentioned before, i had 59.8/60 for my coursework, so i just need another 75++ marks to obtain the current result...

Linear Algebra, i am sooooooo delighted... 'Coz i only had 52/60 for my coursework... So blessed that i had earned more than 85 marks in the finals to achieve an A...

At last, i can acquire my prize from principal during award presentation in oct, lolx~

Bro said it is a "must" to attend that ceremony, hehe~

23/8 - Korean's dinner set with family at Kuchai Lama.. So full~ Nice anyway..

16/8 - Went to Mantin, somewhere near Semenyih for "cousin" who was celebrating her 83rd's birthday with parents and relatives~ lolx!

Went airports by Jonathan’s car… Pauline and I reached his house by 6pm++ right after Xiao Wei and Justin…

We’re like standing outside Jon’s house since he hasn’t come back from buying a new HTC which he’s going to bring to US…
We moved to INTI to fetch ZeeMan a long and headed to airport…

Jon drove “faster” compared to last time… anyway, we reached airport at 7.20pm (just as what we planned) and straight walked to find the people who’re leaving…
I was kinda crazy at that night, ‘coz I kept on telling cold jokes… (alright, FINISHED, lolx)

First met Eugene and family, then the gang decided to eat their dinner, so they suggested McD (haiz, I think we should have some local food which seems more relevant, haha), however, due to my joke in the car, we went to KFC, lolx… zadao…

Well, sending them off was like taking pictures, pictures, pictures, chit-chat, and lastly, hugs before they checked in…

Mom fetched both Pauline and I to ESSO petrol station next to IOI mall to wait for Boon Han who was going to fetch us to INTI…
Reached INTI a bit earlier, that was like 7.15pm… Sat at Concourse, chatting while BoonHan was spending time playing with a football…
Finally Gabriel, Adrian Yeong and Joey (following her car to airport this time) reached INTI after approx 30 minutes…

Joey was such a “dangerous” driver, she drove like 170km/h so that we would be able to send Felicia before she left… wahliao… Initially she wasn’t that scary until she met a Sentra which was trying to like racing with her.. lolx
I was so glad that I reached home safely that night.. haha… Thanks Gabriel for sending me home, so nice of him!
Well, photography sessions again… Fel’s mom was really friendly…
And, Nick’s mom was such a diplomatic person, she knew a lot of information about staying in US and flight all that…

John and Nick would stop at Japan for few hours and straight to Minneapolis, what a nice flight plan compared to others (mostly like fly to Singapore first, then Japan, Chicago and final destination…)…
Luckily that Fernie, Yann Huoy, Boon Han, Li Na and John were able to rush to see Fel for the last minute before she went in the gate, haha….

After 1 and a half month, i got this letter: (which indicates that i won the contest which worth RM200 Freshcon's contact lens)

Then i headed to ACP office (CLEO's office) with mu mom at Damansara Uptown (which i tried to figure out the destination by google map.. i was wondering where's Uptown 2, luckily, i was able to make the right turn and found it by searching tall building since it's at 8th floor)..

Second, i got this letter/voucher, from ACP's reception:

Lastly i went to IOI mall to claim the items belowed... 4 pairs as i have different power for each eye... 2 pairs of mystical black and 2 pairs of winsome brown...

Whole process took like a week or two 'cause i didn't finish everything once, haha~

BT gang's sudden yet successful outting!

Venue: Subang's zone: Neway, Snowflake, Asia Cafe

Time: 12.30pm - 7.20pm

A really sudden (as Huey Yuan called for outting at 8pm the day before it) and successful BT gang's gathering~

After accompanied my mom to Carrefour, Sri Petaling, and drank a cup of Lou Hong Ka's bird nests, lolx, mom sent me to Yuan's house to meet up with her at 12.20pm...

I was wearing Phuket's elephants dress that day, haha!

Since it was approaching 12.30pm which we agreed to gather at Bukit Jalil's LRT station, both Yuan and i went there early to wait for Kah Mun, Xiu Heng and Chong Yew...

Chong Yew was the "latest" of all, he reached the station at 1.10pm, and we headed to Subang by Huey Yuan's car together with An Cherng (Wai Yong and Wai Loon were in his car) following us... (We made fun of Chong Yew as we kept apologized while he went in the car, haha)

Li Jin and Pui Yee reached Neway Subang earliest among us, so we just went up and joined them in the karaoke box..

Had a great time wasting time singing together (LOL, XD), except for stupid An Cherng who said he couldn't sing because of sorethroat..

After taking group photo at 4.30pm, Huey Yuan and i sent Chong Yew to the lrt station at Taman Bahagia so that he can reach TimeSquare on time to "pretend" that he didn't play truant for today's activity, lolx!

Then, we joined back the gang at about 5.30pm.. Yuan discovered a missed call from IMU, and she contacted back and found that she had been accepted for Medicine program at IMU! gratz, zimui!

Our karaoke session ended at 6.30pm... Thus, we changed our venue to Snowflakes for dessert~ Funny, i always wanted to try the desserts there, and finally got to try it with BT gang on that day, haha~

Nice shop and dessert! should have our yamcha there next time! hehe~

Then An Cherng, Wai Loon and Wai Yong said they wanted to have their dinner.. So, we went down to Asia Cafe and 4 of us (Xiu Heng, Huey Yuan, Kah Mun and i) sat there and waited for them to finish their food.. lolx

Thanks An Cherng for sending Xiu Heng and I back, see, i taught you another route again! haha

Jonathan's Farewell

Got a message from Wern Pheng about his farewell at the night before it.. It was potluck, so embarassed that we brought nothing there.. lolx

Actually i rushed to INTI to meet with justin, xiao wei and pauline right after giving tuition..

I parked my car at SS15 and went to Jon's house by Xiao Wei's car...

Wahliao, his house was like a palace! haha.. So grand!

Erm, the farewell was about eatting, chatting and playing around.. ohya, with a "house" tour too! lolx..

ABRSM Grade 8 Piano Practical Exam

Date: 12th August 2009
Venue: Oriental Crystal Hotel, Kajang
Time: 11.09am to 11.39am (did piano accompaniment for violin student from 12.21pm until 12.25pm, i guessed, haha)

Accompanied by my parents again(ever since i was really young).. It's the last time.. Before i started my exam, i was really worried.. The feeling this time was different, not that i was nervous for the exam, but i was really thoughtful of my result.. God, bless me, let me pass!

I was 'fully-prepared' and standing outside the exam room right after the girl before me finished her exam.. Yet, examiner(a seriously professional lady) went out of the room and said she had something else to do at the back and asked me to wait for a while.. Standing there doing nothing for 'quite long'.. My feeling of anxiousness gradually gone.. Turned out, i was feeling ready to take the test(good sign, huh?)..

I tried hardly to do my very best, i don't want to keep any regret.. Hope everything would be fine.. Please, just let me pass!

i) scales- erm, i think this part was alright, i did the best i could already, at least my fingers were not shivering, haha

ii) 1st song was not bad.. 2nd piece of clementi was killing me thoroughly.. I practiced everyday, hmm.. I don't know, the song was like mess that i did during lesson? Perhaps.. 3rd song, this is okay.. Just a bit blurred for few notes at that moment, lolx..

iii) sight-reading- uh.. The piece that she gave was really hard.. I wondered..

iv) aural test- i did better in singing.. Can't believe.. Modulation and cadence, i think i was kind of ruining them.. Haiz.. And the very last part turned to tell her what i think about the piece.. Pretty weird coz she only played it once and i didn't notice everything of it..

ah! God, please bless me! I really need to pass this! Thanks guys for blessing me~

Ps: kinda awkward when we're doing sound check for violin in the exam hall.. Sorry.. >.<

buffet dinner at golden horse palace

Time: 7 - 9.45pm

Well, my parents actually got the voucher for 2 buffet dinner at this restaurant, since they went to phuket for holidays, they suggested my bro and i to use it during this term...

Erm, food there was okok, i had been there for about 3 times, breakfast was alright but not for dining, haha...

So, we ended up filling everything into our stomaches..

Damn full eventhough the food was not really tasty (unconsiously tortured ourselves, lolx).. Desserts were the best part of it, we should have skipped main course and appetizers all that...

Hilarious part of the night was when i went in one of the bathroom which was technically out of service.. i actually saw a sign board somewhere next to the bathroom door and i thought it was something about "wet, be cautious"..

Yet it was all about i couldn't press the flush button! i was nervous for a moment, and decided to keep pressing the button, at least there's still clean water coming in... Finally, after i had done everything i could, i stepped out of the toilet, and realised that the board was referring to that particular bathroom and stated "sorry, out of service", lolx! !@$!@$#

Well, I sincerely think that daddy should get the voucher of staying one night there (although it was so near to my house which we actually did it once before, haha) rather than getting this dining voucher, haha...

At about 10pm, we rushed home and got a nap... Lucky that we had taken the rest or else we would be dying of uneasiness caused by the meal...

Departed to fetch parents from LCCT at 11.15pm, reached airport in less than 30 mins...

Parents got me an elephant-painted dress (which had 69 elephants on 1 side, an cherng, you got half of it correct, haha)~

Huey Yuan's Pre-birthday diner~

Should have given piano accompaniment lesson to my violin student but she couldn't make it, so my afternoon was free~

Bro helped me to fetch Ye Vone back to our house before we (Vone and i) went to Gardens together... Two of us went earlier to get Huey Yuan's birthday present and shopped around!

I drove both Vone and i there by my dad's car... Wore the Carlo Rino heel which made my leg ache badly in the night (as i couldn't sleep and asked my bro to massage for me, which worsen the situation, lucky that i remember of the external medicine which was bought in China last time).

Vone bought the pair of shoe which i tried last time... Weird that the shoe really suit her foot shape, ahhahaa!

Girls (Huey Yuan, Kah Mun, Zer Yun) joined us at about 6pm, we had a great time hanging out together... Had dinner at Sushi Zanmai~ Nice chat around... The night ended at 9.30pm++ and i sent Kah Mun back...
Really appreciate the girls' date we had~ ^^
